Is there anyway to have some sort of skill that would be like loan sharking? That is, if there isn`t already and it`s named something else. |

You mean to lend people money against very high level of intrest?
Look at the contract system there is a loan option in there I have no idea how well this works or if it is used a lot but I assume that it will let you set the level/amount of intrest that needs to be paid, though I do not know how it works... if there is some kind of insurance that needs to be handed over by the person taking out the loan.
The skill relaed to this is called : Contracting

I don't know much about the loan option either, but I believe I've heard that really all it does is keep a record that you loaned money to someone. You can't do anything with that record and they don't have to pay you back.
Now I think a really cool feature would be to grant the loaner kill rights if the person accepting the loan exceeds the agreed upon time for payback.

Personally I'd like a skill named blood-sucker, which would work sort of like smuggling. It giving 10% decrease in chances of the blood-loan being detected by Concord. If a blood-loan is detected by Concord the loan-contract will be lost offcourse, and a serious security hit to be taken. Just imagine the 0.0 loan-hubs that would arise

All you need is a large amount of isk, and be willing to loan it out, without knowing if you will ever get it back.
If your good, you get return customers

I only asked this because I was watching star wars the other night and watching Jabba the Hutt as a vile Gangster, why can`t we have those types ingame? Not the Jabba kind, but the type that does what he was doin. Granted, I know he had Bounty Hunters around him and we have those ingame, and we have agents ingame that want us to do missions. But what I was thinkin about was more along the lines of Organized Crime, some sort of Syndicate. I guess we already kinda got those anyways. It was just a thought.

Death means nothing, and if people default on a payment or something they can just stay docked and buy a new cahr or something
All that makes it nothing but a dream. . . .
