My owner (may he be blessed with 1000 fleas round his armpits) has decided that he wants to 'consolidate his accounts' and has decided to push me out into the universe.
Bred especially as a PvP pilot to fly a hurricane for 'retribution missions' this toon will come with a t2 fitted cane and 0 isk
His skills are as so:
Heralds skills
and the ship layout is:
Hi: 6 x Vulcan AC II loaded with 'Barrage M', 2 x missile launchers loaded with FoF
Mid: Sensor booster II, webifier, scrambler, MWD
Low: DC II, 1xkinetic,1xexp,1xtherm armor hardners, 1600mm plate, med armor rep II
Good for a pirate type that wants to start ganking right away  
Starting bid: 1.8 bil
Reserve: 2.5bil
Buyout: Alot higher than that
I will pay the transfer fee
The auction will finish at dt on the 1st Oct - I will arrange transfer with the winning bidder when the server comes up.
Klandi will recieve the isk

3.5m SP (being generous here) @ 2.5b = 714m per 1m SP, which AFAIK would be the highest ever. Sorry, but it's ridiculous. And that's not even the buyout, which is " Alot higher than that".
You could train up an equivalent character in maybe 3 months, at most. Of his three L5 skills two come with at character creation (Gunnery & Small Projectile Turret), so essentially you're paying 2.5b for 3x 30d GTCs (500m) and Medium Projectile Turret 5 (120k). This is a fishy and overpriced offer of sale.
If this is any indication of how you were planning to price your characters then you should re-think your business model and pricing structure.
Aside from all that, I'd estimate this character's value at 500m (a generous 142m per 1m SP). GL with the sale.

OK - I will explain myself and my reasons for my abrupt attitude
Firstly - the price.
A character and a ship - thats what's on auction here.
The character CAN fly the ship and it allows a carebear type person to jump into a bc immediately and defend himself against those very annoying ppl that take his goods he has mined. The value is subjective.
To SUPPORT the price: Shield boosters, active/passive hardners have generally risen over the last few months - some to the tune of 2000% over the last 6 months (Gist A-type small shield boosters for example..they were 80mil not so long ago) As an earlier poster said - GTC have also risen - so the price of characters will rise accordingly. BUT, I repeat.. (in CAPS for the hard of hearing...)
THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT IS SUBJECTIVE TO THE INSTANCE AND THE SITUATION OF THE AFFECTED
It is not up to you to decide on the correctness of a item for sale, so why are you posting your thoughts!!! They serve no benefit or help anybody in any way
So pls - only post bids in here and leave your opinions to other forms of keyboard warcraft that you obviously enjoy .....

Any starter pod-pilot can jump into a bc in 2 weeks. If we imagine a char that cant fly bc and wants to buy a bc-able char ... where does he get several hundred mil from in less than 2 weeks ( the time required to fly a bc in the first place ).
I will bid 1 ISK on this char ... although it's more of a buyout offer.
