The cerb does seem a little sub par unless you can manage to speed tank it like someone else said . . . an example would be the cerb (80 mil base 120 mil minimum for pvp fitted) vs the drake (30 mil base, 60 mil minimum pvp fitted and 110 mil uber-tanked) the drake does more damage, has a better tank, can actually solo, and is considerably cheaper. I can't compare it against other hacs personally because I haven't flown any others, but it seems to me that the cerb should get some kind of boost to make it worth the extra money.

Thats really profound arguments. Flaming and spewing crap always brings a discussion to a higher level.
As several has stated here flying other races HAC's Cerb DO have a disadvantage even its a great damagedealer in gangs.

Tell that to my Gankrax slaughtered by a Cerb's HAMs from OMGWTF-range. Admittedly I was in part of a group and I didn't expect so thorough a ganking, but still.
Tell that to my alt's Sacrilege that can do that Cerb's job faster, and with a better tank, without sacrificing that tank for tackling mods.
Actually the DPS output is quite similar in the role of long-range Javelin HAM sniper. The Sacrilege does admittedly get a better tank with better Ewar ability, but the Cerb has an extra 50% more range. Tradeoff time!

The exact same thing can be said about the munin and hurricane.
Don't ***** about having to train a lot of skills until you fly minmatar. |
