Edited by: Jenah Torell on 26/09/2007 17:45:50 Another noobish question about pos shields.
After anchoring my pos and extras in a .58 system I noticed the shields were at 75% when I finally onlined everything and today I noticed that my shields were at 57% after the 'database issues' today.
I checked my missile bays and turrets and noted that no ammo had been used. So my question is
Do the shields go down to a certain level and build up each time or is somebody takin some shots at my pos when im catchin some zzzzz ?

Thanks for asking this, I noticed the same thing this morning, The Corp POS Shields were at 87% last night (Central Standard Time) and 57% this morning (just after the normal down time)...
So both of us can wait for someone to give us information... --------*****-------- It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

But yes, its a bug.

It's an ongoing bug. Send off a petition with details of exactly where your POS is and a GM will fix your shields....eventually. (Lots of petitions, only so many GMs)
If your tower was getting shot at, you'd get Corp mails about being attacked. _______________________________

repairing the shields yourself SEEMS to keep it stable too(seems as in ~2weeks from my 1st repaired and still solid) it might take a while tho, I had a carrier 'afkish' doing ours while my alt was fueling, moving reactions, and ratting PKKP recruitment |

I do not have the skills to put a carrier in place to bring my shileds up , instead I pettioned it and was responded by a GM rather quick and fixed the bug in no time.
Hurray for GM's

Petition it (and wait a couple of days) or fix it yourself (and get it done immediately). You don't need a carrier for it tho, one or more ospreys with med shield emitters get the job done to. |

Osprey works too, just a lot slower. Or an Abaddon (grid thing) choke-full of RCU-IIs and a Capital Shield Transporter I, with a second ship set-up for remote capacitor assistance pumping the Amarr one.
Not sure it's going to work, but at least you could try _
