I'm in a bit of a dilema right now. 22 days later I can now finally fly my Hulk, and now I'm stuck with the question of what to do next. I have perfect refining, almost perfect mining (with the exception of exhumers 5 because I don't want to wait such a long time again) and use crystals etc.. I was considering going into research/production, but then my question is which do I do first, research or production? Any suggestions are welcome.

Not so! I am loving the hulk so far, my problem is I don't know what to train/go into next. I'm literally sitting here not training anything because I don't know what to do next. I'm considering production/research, but I'm really not sure which. That's why I'm asking for suggestions.

Some people enjoy shooting things. Quite a lot of pew pew skills available.
Or you might want to train for the Roqual.
I would sugest that production is worth training up, if you like that sort of thing, and is faster to train for than for research (there are a LOT of science skills).

I know you don't want to, but I'd get exhumers V. :)
There's also maxing out engineering skills to perfect the tank / drones, etc.
However, as to whether research or production first - I don't recommend research unless you want to maintain and run research POS. While you can research in NPC stations, it's not worth the wait.

I have PvP alt so I don't want to go into that.
As much as I would like to perfect the mining skills I keep getting the feeling that if I go into production I would be making more ISK than spending a month perfecting my mining training Exhumers 5.

I, too, would suggest production. With all the minerals you will pull in, that will be a direct path to ISK. Also, if you do want to fly a rorqual anytime in the future, you will need advanced mass production IV to use the deployment module, so that is a natural extension of production skills. I would get PE to V asap as that save you a lot if you are building anything require alot of minerals or even stuff that required chunk of expensive part - makeing that chunk smaller is always good.

just think of it this way.
in terms of time and money:
a) how much do researched bpc copies cost
b) how much would it cost to buy the bpos, set up research POS farms, research a BS bpo to 10, and produce a bpo.
