Edited by: Solenia on 27/09/2007 05:35:25 Since the lastest changes to this ship and I been tempted to try it out since I got over 3.5mil in missiles and HAC 5.
The thing is with so many lows & Med it can be nanoed to do over 4k m/s none stop, the +25% armor resistances(Amarr Cruiser skill bonuses) and the -25% cap recharge time is very good for armor tanking.
Now I'm interested to use this ship for pvp either roaming, gate camp or solo pvp so any ideas, comments and setups pls?
P.S: I did some searching but came with nothing useful, so if there is anther post that was made about this one pls point me to it, thank you.

I wouldnt go all out nano on this thing, more like dual rep + nano....At 4kms your turn radius would be HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!
I might add that the vegeance is a great ship with dual rep + MWD...Personaly I go for the 500dps tanked, 500 dps gank sac, mostly because nano setups are to expensive...

Which does not work. With rage ammo you can *just* get 500 dps with drones and 2 BCUs.
With 2 mar2 and an EAN2 you can tank 350 dps average. You need 2 centum/corpum a-type reps to get 500 dps tanked.

2x poly 2-3x od sacri has pretty okish turn radius. Set orbit at 7,5k you land at abt 11k, set at 13k you land at 16k. 2x poly makes it agile enough.
As for 500dps tank: you are dead in 0.0. You wont make it back to gate if you fall into gatecamp (to burn back near huginn you need abt 2,5km/s speed with decent agility).
EDIT: to poster above: 350 dps tank with or w/o 2x aux nanos?

How about this nano setup
lows 3xOverdrive II 1xNano II 1xLocal Hull Conversion Inertial
Rigs 2xPoly
According to EFT I'll have speed off 4164 m/s and align time of 5.7s
P.S: You can fill the meds and high whatever u wish as it wont effect the nano setup much.

With 1 EAN2 the sac has 73% average resistances (less if it uses a thermic harderner). In other words 1 armor is worth 3.7 armor with 0% resistance.
2 MAR2 do 71.1 reg/sec. With a rep amount and rep time rig they do 96.2 rep/sec. Gives * 3.7 a tank of 355 dps.

Thats pretty much the best speedmod combination for 5 lows. Some people might use a 2nd istab instead nano for a bit less speed and more agility, but thats a preference thing. Both options are fine.
Personally I would loose 1 OD2 or the nano for a BCU though. Its dps is a little low otherwise.
Also, do not forget implants. 3% base and MWD speed are very cheap, zors *hyper*-link is 5% mwd mwd speed, too, and with 20-30 mil also relatively inexpensive.

For heavy tackler / bait ship this sounds okay:
2x Medium Armor Repairer II 1x Armor Thermic Hardener II 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II or Damage Control II ( depending on comp. skills )
1x Medium Capacitor Booster II ( 800s ) 1x 10MN MicroWarpdrive II 1x Warp Disruptor II 1x Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
5x Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II
2x Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Should tank around 640dps, does 360 with faction missiles and Hobgobs.
Speed is still ok with ~1600 m/s.
Requires 3% CPU implant iirc.
