Jacob Powers	Posted - 2007.09.27 12:25:00 - [1] What exactly are rigs and rig slots for? I do not quite understand these compared to high/med./low slots. I am envisioning hauling and extra trailer on the back end of my ship, but I doubt that's what it is. Is there are chart somewhere that reveals wherer varies ores are minable? I have scouted out .9 and .8 space and I still find veldspar. I am looking for other ores such as scordite, especially within my region. I have found a few pages that deal with ores, but none of them really pinpoint which type of ore and where they can be mined.

Require the jury rigging skill to use, then the specific jury rigging skill to the rig you're using (eg shield rigging for shield rigs etc). For where to mine, try http://www.fluidorbit.co.uk/ but bear in mind most of the best mining is in 0.0 space.

Scordite should be easy to find everywhere.... unless somebody else already mined it out before you.
