I'm just wondering if the ingame GM'S really look into banning farmers or they put this issue last inline . I'm not new to mmos I know what farmers are you know the ones who are all in npc corp who are in the same little area of 0.0 always ratting non stop then bring a hauler filled with torps for their ravens. Or the one person in a player corp that goes to a totaly diffrent area then where his or her corp operates and all they do is rat and most of the time they are chinies , nothing against china . Its easy to see who they are in every game once you understand what they do , if you dont know by now they pay to play EvE so they can farm ISK - Gold - Adena or whatever so they can sell it to people who play EvE for real money.
I decided to make a post on this matter because Ive lost my third BS to them because i underestimated them ......again but i dont think I will ever get a riembursement , but I do have the right to fight for the area i want to rat in against other players in EvE who play by the rules, so the farmers are kinda ruining it for me , yeah i know some of you will say find another place to rat but i dont want to find another place ive already found the perfect spot

CCP bans if they catch players using macro's or if they catch players selling isk for out of game currency. The end.

Yes, CCP are not afraid to use the ban hammer if needed in the right circumstances.
You'd be surprised how many times I get convo'd by players while out mining in my hulk because some people think "high sec, hulk... macroer!!!"
That's not the case, I never go afk while undocked, some people are just over zelous I guess.

No they don't. You can petition a farmer. Then they send you a reply: Thank you for reporting this. We will lokk into it.
Then they do nothing and the farmer keeps doing his work.

One suspects that if you are losing BSs to them...
1- they are not macroing and not therefore farmers in the usual sense of the phrase
2- They are not just farmers as they know how to pvp rather than just logging off
3- You suck! Think about your setup and theirs before attacking them. Check what rats they are dealing with and the damage they do / take.

I had a good laugh at this ... dude, asking for someone to be banned because they are ratting in the same place that you like ratting in and then blowing you up when you attacked is just ....showing you in a bad light (REALLY nice way of putting it)
And the second bit I bolded above, just for clarification .... you say its your right to fight for a particular place to rat in, but it is NOT ok for them to do the same to you???

Are they safe>cloak>log ratters, or just a macro'd blob that a user takes over whenever you're vulnerable?
REPO isn't a pushover corp. Bring your guys down there and *****the farmers for a week or two... they'll get the message and find somewhere else to rat, or they'll hire an even *bigger* pvp corp to chase YOU out.
Either way, farmers are here to stay. Sure, they sell the ISK for cash, but CCP won't do anything about *that* either.

tbh, I guess you can't ban anyone that isn't from the city... there will always be farmers needed out in the field, they supply you with milk, meat and all those goodies, or do you get them from factories...
Nah kidding... but define farmer first?

If CCP were to ban anyone who farms, then there would be no industrial corps left for the pirate corps to raid.
CCP bans people who have been caught using macros, or who have been found to trade ISK for real world money. The act of having a bunch of underpaid drudges sit in a stuffy computer room in a low wage country and have them farm resources 23/7 is in itself not against the rules.

Farmers = profits.
Plain and simple.
The problem is actually quite dire, i see 100 million isk on the websites going for $7 when it used to go for $15
if the price of isk has been halved, then there is a TON of isk being farmed, making the isk farming problem MUCH worse than thought.
