BoB used the term "pets" for months, starting with xelas when they 'gave' them fountain (FA was still around back then, and fighting xelas on a regular basis), it was even the high ranking officers of BoB that started to use that term, we saw it coming directly from their officers forums, thanks to their forums hacking by a guy named kugutsumen that also showed us the Dev 'T20' T2 BPO scandal, and got banned for it

Then, BoB stopped using that term as it was hurting its relations with their so called "pets", but still, even if they don't use that term anymore, they still think the same way, for them, "pets" are cannon fodders AND a good source of isk (rents) and good PvPers that they then recruit
