Honestly I think that CCP should take the ISK you gained from said scam.
If they don't then what is stopping the ISK buyers from getting "scammed" by their own alts/friends everytime they buy isk.

Wrong I'm afraid.He knew the isk was dirty so therefore the BS is dirty too.The Isk must be now be removed from game.
What's stopping people from buying Isk with an alt and then claiming to have scammed said alt of the goods they bought?The alt gets banned and the alt maker now has the Isk(In the form of commodities which can be sold).
The Mega should be returned to the seller and Isk for the sale removed from his wallet.The Isk buyer should be banned and the OP should have the Isk removed from his wallet and issued with a warning.
imo.

he was a new player whom did not know it was wrong to buy isk.
and you then blackmail him insted of just telling him its wrong and that he can lose the isk he has bought.
thats lame man, just for some isk?
a new player mutch younger than your self is just sick man.
you should be banned and be forced to give the mega back.
and you Ratting him out as well, is even sicker.
now fine he bought isk, and he did wrong, but new players are spammed down all the time, and some of em may think its quite ok to buy some isk to have fun with.
you should have told him about etc, and how he could buy isk legel if he really wanted to, but insted to act like a mental case,
report him, then hang him out and try to make your self look like a hero, dude your sick sick sick man.

This act of extortion you publicized here... the RL money component... this adds a new dimension to things. I'm sure it's being debated by the GM's/Devs.

ok first off, i don't see anything in the eula that sais blackmail is against the rules
and second the petition has been closed and i still have the isk in my wallet from selling the mega so im going to continue to think that i have done the right thing

1) everyone... and i repeat EVERYONE needs to read the EULA when they sign up for a MMO.
2) everywhere i look, website, ingame loader announcements, everywhere i see "dont buy isk, isk buying is bad, etc"
3) when some 10y old kid gets a game, and the first thing he does is go to www.gamefaqs.com and look for cheatcodes, he KNOWS EXACTLY that thats lame and still does it.
4) dont try to excuse isk buyers. PERIOD.

I mean, buying ISK is stupid and wrong to begin with, but to try to capitalize by taking assets bought by dirty isk? You're no better than he is. If not it's even worse because your broke ass didn't even spend the real money to get it. :3 LoL
