I'd like to eventually equip my ship with a jumpdrive (when thay actually get released anyway .) And I want to know what ships and the requirements on the ship they are going to require. I'd rather not spend all that xtra time getting my Warp Drive & Navigation skills up to Lv. 5 (even tho they are at 4 now) and have to blow 10mil for the Jumpdrive Op skill and then not be able to equip 1 on my ship. I believe it was said awhile ago that they would be able to be placed on ships other than Titans, but I don't think that was confirmed. Antway, I think the Devs are gonn ahave to coment on this 1, unless some of the players talk to them regularly and know.

I don't mean training Jumpdrive to lv. 5, I meant traing the prerequisites to lv. 5 cause it's required.

I'd be suprised if you could fit a JumpDrive to anything smaller than a Titan.

I have to agree. As far as I know jumpdrives will be for Titans... they're a little too big for jumpgates.
So if you plan to buy a Titan when and if we ever see them, then train the skills at a later time, but for now don't bother.

Do not waste any time training for a jump drive. They have been talking about them since day 1. If they ever add them to the game, it won't be for a long time.

Jumpdrives are tech V i believe, and will be soley for Titans, or specially designed Battleships (Anyone remember the "Special battleship that will require navigation skills" that hellmar promised in a csm months ago?:P)

its just a skill that shouldnt be ingame yet :P
kinda been left there since beta, and never removed, and never used. kinda funny tho seeing people buy the skill.
