Greetings all, it has been some time since I have posted anything of substantial detail on here. I have been quite occupied by real life and have merely been perpetuating my EVE ventures rather than actively expanding them. It is time for that to change: IĈm back!
I have a lot of stuff to ramble about, and I hope all the questions that I have been asked recently will be adequately answered here. The vast majority is of course about FRPB, my 7% per month return bond offering, but IĈm also going to roughly outline my future plans for EVE, including future double digit return projects, as well as tell a tale of luck and fortune.
Before I get into the serious business, IĈd like to share with you a tale of retribution. To prevent cross-postage I am just going to link my post in the Crime and Punishment forum. The summary of the story is that much earlier in the year I was the victim of a corp thief and I have partially recovered the capital lost from him. Yay!

The Past and Future of FRPB
Most of you are very familiar with FRPB already, the original bond IPO with a guaranteed 7% return, which was followed soon after by similar guarantees by Nyphur and Eefrit. FRPB helped lift the standard for public investment returns which at the time we, on the open market, hovering at around 5.5%. I am pleased to say that all has gone very well in this endeavour and I am being asked for more and more FRPB all the time.
FRPB went through a share creation vote earlier this month to expand its total available bonds from 80,000 units to 200,000 units, an ambitious 150% increase. This has been done to fill demand that currently exists as well as cater for demand into the future. The rate of return of 7% of the face value of the bond (1m isk) has not been and will not be affected by this. Existing investors will not be negatively affected in any way.
FRPB is in the process of being listed on both the EGSE and RESX exchanges. I am confident it will be available for open trade on both by the end of this month. I will be selling FRPB through EGSEx personally and as always in the past, I will not charge any broker fees. You may also contact me directly for purchases.
FRPB is going to go through one significant change starting at the start of next month. FRPB will be paying returns of 3.5% twice per month rather than 7% once per month. These payments will occur on the first and the fifteenth of each month. On the first of next month, a full 7% will still be paid. FRPB buyback, under the established terms for existing shareholders, will be done via an order on EGSE. Forced buyback for new bondholders as of next month will not occur.
Share Exchange Programs: FIN-U and ISSO
As most of you know, FIN-U is slowly going through a privatisation process and the bonds are being bought back by Eefrit. For those that want to keep their isk invested I am offering a FIN-U for FRPB exchange program. I will trade you your FIN-U bonds for FRPB bonds at the rate of 1-to-1; both having a face value of 1m isk each. I will then sell these to Eefrit in bulk, so those investors of FIN-U who want to keep their isk invested can do so without having to go through the buyback procedure then reinvesting their isk. This exchange is approved and endorsed by Eefrit.
ISSO has established a voluntary buyback of shares at their IPO value of 10m isk each. Similar to the FIN-U exchange service, I will exchange your ISSO shares for FRPB on a 1-to-10 basis, keeping equal face value. I will then sell these directly back to Stins. For those ISSO investors that have been looking for a greater than 5% return and would like FRPB, this again offers an easier solution for moving investment isk around than manually going through the sale and re-investment processes.
Anyone interested in either of these offers, please contact me in game.
EGSE Semi-Retirement
As many of you know, I have brokered on EGSE now for quite a few months, always entirely free of charge. I have racked up over 50 billion isk worth of transactions since I started, which although eclipsed in total by brokers like Omber Zombie and Ferrosa, I believe I have been the most used broker in the time I have been active.
I thank you all for the trust you have put in me over this time, and I hope other aspiring brokers step up and get into the game. I no longer want to do it for free because it robs others of a genuine income, and such an important service should be a paid one, it is a cornerstone of the community we have here.
I will still be operating on EGSE in a limited way as mentioned above, buying and selling FRPB et cetera. I have brokered many private deals, in the isk value of 3-4 times my EGSE trades over the same period, and if anyone would like a broker for a large deal in the future I am still more than happy to offer this service for free to you all.

Dividends
Yes, LMTA and FRPB will be paying dividends out tomorrow, at 10% and 7% respectively, on time, as always! Just thought IĈd remind you :-D
Future Projects
I have a few things floating around on the drawing board for a while, I have talked about some of these with other people privately and in EGSEx, and all my future projects will be group or community based rather than solo. Some of the ideas I hope to get started soon are;
+An EVE Free Market Economy Discussion/Education/Lobby Group +Public non-solo Corporation (as opposed to bond issuer) +EVE Share Market / Economy Blog +Special short term 10%+ bonds for FRPB investors.
I will of course be looking for other people to work with on these things, the first and third being not-for-profit projects, so if there are any interested like-minded individuals that would like to collaborate please let me know :-)

Edited by: Shadarle on 30/09/2007 20:27:33 Nice write up. Glad to get some current information from ya.
I will be looking for ways to invest some more of my money, so I look forward to your future ventures.
What is the current state of FRPB in regards to # of open shares? I'm guessing there are quite a few left unsold after the 150% increase or did those all sell out. Or am I mis-reading something and none have yet been sold? I would be interested in a large chunk of shares if there are some open. My current allotment of shares in you is too small currently

Only a few sold. I haven't publicly advertised them (I held off until after I made this post)
After tomorrow's dividends I will actively be pushing them again :)

Yes, but it will be limited to a percentage of the total, probably 10b per month or so.

If you read the 2nd post it says the payment is 3.5% twice a month. Do you need someone to do that math for you?
1,000,000 * 3.5% + 1,000,000 * 3.5% = ?
As to the daylife comment... I have no clue what that even means.
