that's right, another jita post, why? cuz it's still not fixed.
as i'm posting this, i've been stuck on a gate trying to get out of jita for 20 minutes now. my skill also expired and can't train the new one. i didn't even dock, i was just passing through. i am dumbfounded how ridiculous this lag is. i hate having to pass through that hell-hole, but i've never ever seen it as bad as this.
so why doesn't ccp make some sort of bypass for people just travelling through, so we don't have to go though jita at all? perhaps some sort of alternate gate or link the systems around jita...

welcome to jita at peak times on a weekend, happens most weekends, which is why most people avoid passing through it if they can help it, and jita will never really be fixed, as soon as the system can hold more people and be stable there will be more people there. catch 22 really

yep, my mistake was i logged off after waiting to get into system, now im stuck on black screen for the past 30mins(?) yeah it sucks ass but what r u gonna do eh.

Clear your cache and machonet. Jita has a tendancy to ruin my cache when I dock or undock. This usually fixes it..

yeah... its quite annoying. I've been trying to log in for 2 hours now. I just get bumped back to the character selection screen after a while. I don't mind lag, but not being able to log in sucks.

Making more posts about Jita isn't going to get it fixed. If you dont like Jita, dont go to Jita.

I was just in Jita, lovely place, did some shopping, came out and a lovely battleship escorted me outside.
Then warped to a gate and went along my merry way, no lag, no hazzle 
You know...it might be that before i go to jita, i remove all effects, turret and such, occuled ships off, trails off, zoom out a million kilometers, stash away overview(this all takes about 15 secs max) and all that, or it might be that...
...i have more patience then a dog that hasn't ****ed in a day

oh guess what, i won't shut it. i'm gonna keep *****ing and whining until the game becomes playable again. last time i checked i paid to play not to wait.
if they close this one, i will open up another one. and another. and another. if they ban my account thats fine, no money for them. but i'm gonna try and do something about the lag unlike most of u who bend over and take it from ccp like they're doing you some sort of favor.

I was in Jita yesterday. Worked fine with 450-500 people. I was positively surprised. Even fitted my ship there and all, without any significant lag. Guess you just have to avoid it when there are 800-1000 people already stuffed inside.
If you get stuck, create a alt, file a "stuck" petition and within a short amount of time you will get moved out.
Guess one way for a 'quick fix' for Jita would be to close the entry gates to Jita once a certain number of people are inside, letting only people out but not in and to throw anyone out who is posting the same message twice on local.
