For example, capitalization, or if you have a number at the end, or if your name is sexual or derrogatory, or if you can come up with some other similarly good reason. If it doesn't go through the first time, petition it again another one or two times before giving up.

It's not that they call primary by name, it just makes more sense to have your overview sorted by name when calling out targets. If it was sorted by, say, distance, then the targets would be constantly changing position on the list, and it would make a mess to lock anyone or have any organization. So since an FC would have his overview sorted by name, either starting with A or Z, it makes sense he'd start looking for a target from the top of the list. Obviously he'd ignore the targets with a small ship icon, going for the BSs/etc first, but the point is that if you're flying a ship that gets primaried often, and have a name starting with A or Z, then your chances of getting called a target are much higher. Reason being: they dont want to let you run and hide from a nasty rep.

Allowing for no namechanges in the game is hurting the overall immersion. Most everyones alt has an improved name better in tune with the EVE lore than their first character. A little more faith from CCP in their own product is in order, introduce alias' and see the game evolve into a better place. Also Known As
