Rooker Lysian Enterprises	Posted - 2007.10.03 01:09:00 - [31] No. Lasers suck... What you want is make sure you have a well-rounded slot layout so you can deal with whatever you run into. You want a couple of 425MM rails, so you can reach out and touch somebody at long range. Then you add a couple of 250MM to deal with cruisers, because 425s don't track very well. Now, you need a pair of 150MM small rails to deal with those little frigates that like to orbit at STOP-THAT-UR-MAKING-ME-NAUSEOUS speeds. Finally, you add a pair of assault missile launchers and toss in some defenders, because everybody and their brother will be firing missiles at you. Provides -excellent- protection from that. Sometimes, you might run into a bubbled gate, so you'll want to get the hell out of that as quick as possible, which means Microwarp. But.... those BS-sized MWD suck HUGE amounts of cap. A 10MN should be fine. Slap on a few Large Shield Extenders, to make sure you can take a couple of hits if you have to... A Mega has a lot of low slots. Put in an armor plate or 2, maybe 200MM-size so that you don't use up too much power. Also some reinforced bulkheads to increase your hit points. That leaves a few more slots open. Personally, I'd put on a couple of cargo expanders. In a long fight, you don't want to run out of ammo... Your enemies will now be in awe of your uberfleetmega of doom. :D -- This Space For Rent
