It costs a billion to start an alliance and skil wise, you need to max out the corporation skills, empire control n such i think. Tbh i did it the easy way and had a freind make one for me! Saves a shed load of training....
Sadly making alliances is soo yesteryear, i'd just join one ( saying that.. i did in the end)

It costs one billion to create an alliance along with fee's for the upkeep of the alliance there on in (unsure of amount) and i believe these bills are monthly.
There are alliance creation services for small fee's on the sell orders, use the search fucntion for these forums.
As far as im aware it does not cost too add a corp to an alliance. -

Requirements to create:
Empire Control 5 1,000,000,000 ISK
And then there's something like a 1m per month fee per corporation in the alliance to keep it active or something, paid by the alliance executor.

There are people that get paid to create alliances for people who don't have the skills. Look at some of the big alliances, several used this, many of the alliances founders which create alliances for others will say it in their bio.
It's a matter of trust to do so, you will need to give the 1B to the guy... -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast ! The Vexor Navy Issue is much more fun than the Myrmidon ! |

Wow, that's harsh. That link says if you don't pay alliance fees on time alliance is automatically disbanded so I assume that would mean you lose 1 bil. Does the sum get subtracted automatically or does executor have to keep an eye on when payment is due like with corp office rent?

Never assume that renewal is automatic. Even with the Corp office rent bills, I make sure to pay them manually just so no little 'surprises' can creep up and bite me. (Yes, they usually work just fine with automatic renewal, but anything that you allow to go wrong, will go wrong) _______________________________

Can't the payment be taken automatically from the corp/alliance wallet?
