This will seem like sort of a strange question/situation...
Just gonna lay this out straight: My characters got 1.2 million SP, and as far as I have learned about the game, it dosent seem like I have the correct starting stats and starting skillsets for a pve/missions character. I am Amarr, flying a cruiser, have like I said 1.2m SP, just trained gunnery to IV (from I) and will take 8d to V, Learning is at 5, Iron will at 3, other two are at 3 and 4.
In experimenting at the character creation screen, ive seen starting skill sets start out with most of the things I NEED to be @ IV and V, already trained. This is my first toon and I have made a couple mistakes going a little deep in unnecessary combat skills.
Cha. 7
Int. 14
Per. 8
Mem. 12
Wil. 16
(3 limited implants, 1 on cha, 1 on mem, 1 on per.
So I guess the bottom line is: would it be worthwhile to reroll to get the appropriate long term skills and stats to be at maximum for PVE missions and PVP?

It may be worthwhile to reroll a new character and keep your existing one. The perception is a bit low for ship training.
In saying this my character is much worse than yours and I'm too attached to reroll (that and all the sp).
I agree I don't have the features to be a holoreel star.
Most people have missed the point that this is Mobsters Online and that carebears are at the bottom of the foodchain. |

I was pretty lucky when I made my character though I would have made some changes myself if I could.
Anyway if you do reroll it's generally perception>Intelligence>willpower>Memory>Charisma for pvp I think though willpower can be switched.

Re-roll it would be worth it i think.
Try and keep all the stats around the same amount, excluding
charisma.

I can tell ya that i rolled a Caldari-Achura-Military myslelf.
I had it so i started with stats of 9/9/9/9/3 base stats ofcourse before learning skills taking into account including the ones i started with.
What i love about it is that i started with gunnery-lv5 small hybrid turrets-lv5 so it took me like a day or so to train for T2 small blasters AND i started with missile launcher opperation-lv4 so 1 more and thats 5 already as well. And evemon tells me with my current learning skills which i have over 1.1m sp in that it will take me less than a month to train for T2 Medium Blasters.
With basic-5 adv-4 learning skills wise and a +3 implant set i will have stats of 23/23/23/23/3 thats leaving the charisma learning skills out. So with a +5 set i would actualy get as high as 25/25/25/25/3 again 3 being charisma. And if i was really nuts and trained adv-5 i would have 26/26/26/26/3 but not sure if i wanna do that due to the couple years before it really pays off.
Am i saying thats the best path.... nope cause i never would as games like this are all about what the individual likes but i would reccomend it for an all around balanced skill set and atributes.
And if you wanted to go with other ships can always cross train for em.
sorry for the long post but i wanted to explain what i did and such..... Good luck with the remake and in the end go with what ya like cause some may not like the caldari achura portraits or whatnot hehe

1.2 mill sp is nothing. If your going to reroll, now is a perfect time to do so as you'll lose very little real time (or none, once your better stats kick in).
Train a new alt with your preferred stats, but keep your original one... you never know when it might come in handy.
