Why does it take so long for me to lock targets and the best range is at only 23k. What am I doing wrong? Ralumos	Posted - 2007.10.04 12:18:00 - [6] The ship you are flying, and the type of ship you are targeting is relevant also. It sounds like you might be flying a frigate, but larger ships generally have weaker scanners (scan resolution), and smaller ships are more difficult to target. It can easily take a battleship 30 seconds or more to target lock a frigate or interceptor.

Posted - 2007.10.04 13:31:00 - [7] the reason for his poor lock has already been said about, no matter the ship 2 stabs will massivly slow the lock and decrease the range, take them off then check ur stats, or if you must fit them lose some meds and go for sensor boosters.

Currently, its a crapshoot trying to figure out what they mean, particularly if you're new. The module descriptions really do need a thorough redo (like that'll ever happen).
