Is it possible to fit a t1 hauler with enough HP to withstand a single BC in Hi-sec assuming that I am at the keyboard to manually warp? Is shield or armor tank the way to go?
I would probably say shield tank cause then you can also fit stabs and istabs. Can you fit enough powercores in lows to make a difference in how many HP from the shield you get to offset other useful lowslot modules?
Would the Exequror be an alternative hauler for Gallente? The cargo space is low but grid allows for a lot more HP. |

If you're at the keyboard it's easy, you only have to withstand for the time it takes to get into warp. Fit med shield extenders, and nanos/istabs.

I used a badger MK2 with as much shield extenders in med as u can fit, saved me a couple of times. Using the Crane atm -> awesome hi-sec anti gank hauler.

Badger Mk2 with 3x medium extender II's and 3 invul field II's (better than fielding single resist amps). Lows with 3 warp core stabs.

ooh yeah, i love the tank you can slap on badger 2's ive even managed to tank a myrmidon in one...abeit for only about 1 miniute..and the bastard cost close to 60 mill.. but still

Get transport ship. you will have slighty bigger chance of surviving:)
I lost itheron 5 with shield extenders, you can lose even transport ship, if you check KB of ohh shiny alliance (known hi sec gangkers) they even killl transport ships.
So only safe ship is freighter.
