The Hooch Minmatar Privateers Privateer Alliance	Posted - 2007.10.04 14:16:00 - [1] We have an opeing this week for a contractor. If you have 300 million laying around and want to put it to good use and keep your hands clean we will be happy to dec 5 alliances for you. What you should know: 1. The marks have to have a large empire presence (nice fat haulers is a plus) 2. Your targets need to have at least 400 members (each) to provide something for the lads to hunt (I have many mouths to feed here) What do you get? You will be able to know that Privateers will gank and loot your foes for 7 whole days and see that empire will not be as safe as they used to think. The best part is your hands are pure as the driven snow. Also, upon request I will write a bad forum post complete with smoking women with knives and sexual references. What could be better than that? Please contact me ingame within the next 24 hours via Eve-mail or drop into "Privateers - Public" (use the spaces) for a chat. Hooch Concord punishes people, it does not protect them

Alliances being forced to send warships to secure the trade routes for their haulers is a win. It's all about reacting to us as every other entity has reacted to privateering throughout history. That's the fun of being a privateer, nabbing your haulers after the route has been plowed by the combat ships is the payoff. Hastings Privateers how is it a win? you really don't have to go out of your way to make a hauling alt and their stuff still gets where its supposed to go. privateers didn't cause people to use hauler alts, big boy warfare did

Honestly anyone who's spent time in a big 0.0 alliance has been through wardec's before and has a system in place to avoid getting their haulers ripped off. At least the smart ones do.I've been war decc'ed by Privateers before but I spend so little time in empire I've never actually seen one. There's nothing stopping you from attacking haulers from newbie corps, you just have to weigh the cost/benefit of attracting Concord's attention. I think it's smart for folks who want the extra protection of the law for their logistics in empire to fly under an empiresÆ colors. Sort of analogous to what real privateers had to contend with, eh? ItÆs tough being a pirate.
