Edited by: Pychian Vanervi on 20/02/2004 10:22:12 Myself and my CEO have been discussing looking at joining one of the alliances.
We are not a big corp by a long shot but we have dedicated members and plenty of experience. I was just wondering what is the best way into an alliance and who do I talk to discuss this? -----------------------------
It's all about the fortune and glory, fortune and glory!

I recommend asking yourself what your corp wants out of an alliance and what you're willing to commit to the alliance.
Some alliances cater to the care bear "I wanna mine my buttocks off 23/7" crowd. Some alliances are in the middle and have both. A few alliances are more PvP minded with a killer instinct and a taste for war.
C4 (which is part of the Curse Alliance) is of the last variety. We don't go after noobs but are engaged in some of the hottest warfare found in eve, fighting some of the most experienced and determined enemies found in eve. If action and excitement is what you're corp is looking for then contact Specter in game about the C4.
It all depends on what floats your boat...

And in case I wasn't clear enough, C4 ONLY wants corps that have a blood lust for warfare. Mining is fine but mine too much and we'll kill you ourselves.

Niet zo aso mensen, engels is de voertaal hier.
I concur, corporations interested in mining AND warfare could very well be welcome to the CA or c4 for that matter. But if you dont want to be flagged enemy by the other half of Eve you prolly shouldn't.
Immensea Federation is a nice bunch as well, i have some nice memories of them (tho i havent been online lately to check if they still operate in the immensea regions as much as used to be).

One thing you want to consider with an alliance is "what do you have to offer in return", and who are they at war with. Some alliances *Coughs Phoenix Alliance* like to get as many peeps as possible into their alliance so the big dogs can mine will you go get slaughtered. "they need cattle". Are you cattle? If you're willing to enter a smaller alliance (one that won't blow you away or demand tribute) OSAL is always welcoming. Just head for Osmeden and contact me in-game. Or, go here:

Edited by: Kipkruide on 21/02/2004 11:36:25 ever heard of set theorie , if c4 is in the ca I quoute "C4 (which is part of the Curse Alliance)" then the statement is perfectly valid. Since by mentioning the encompassing set i automatically include the subset in the statement.
LEZEN.
Besides you made the assumption that i was replying to you, i wasn't, i was replying too pychian's question. the statement made only 2 points albeit in a jesting way. From my knowledge a small corp could try to join the ca or cfs since the sa and fa don't usually take small corps on. And i have no firsthand knowledge of the rest of the alliances in the game.
so stop acting like someone stepped on your toes, not everything has to do with you dream.

Edited by: anthonieak on 21/02/2004 11:45:22 Goh leuk genoeg nederlanders op dit forum.
Als wij nederlanders, belgen. Nu een Kartel opstarten en ieder van zijn of haar corps stuurt wat test personen naar die corps toe om te kijken of zo'n alliance echt werkt.
Shall i translate this in english nah, trnslation you will find on our webside. For the really curious under you. Bit different but it is there.

I would suggest Fountain Alliance, but in the end the choice is up to you, the best thing is to contact a CEO from a corp in every alliance and have a short chat with them.
Im not going to make comments about anyone who doesnt like the FA but we do have an amazing alliance and structure, everyone is friendly and if you care to look around, you'll hardly ever see a FA post flaming other people and if there is that person is often reprimanded.
But its up to you although in parting Join the FA

Another suggestion might be the newly formed Solitude Empire (SE).

do you see the kinda of silly bickering that goes on between alliances? do you wanna fill your time with smack talk? how about becoming a tool? or a number? i suggest choosing your own side. pick and alliance, and go have a blast, , literally. oh, and if you decide to join carebears anonymous, thats cool with me too...we could always use somemore targets. that, and i just love adding more corps to my wall of pain (dislikes tab).
