So I've been a bit bored lately and spent some time looking up old radio shows, and I came across X - 1, and old sci-fi radio show from the late 50s early 60s. Alot of the episodes for this show where written by some of the biggest names in early sci-fi. Authors like Ray Bradury, Robert Heinlein, Issac Asimov, and Philip K. D.i.c.k.
There are alot of excellent shows some that are better then most TV sci-fi's or dramas. All of the shows fall into the public domain and every episode can be found on THISwebsite.
Please tell me what you think and if you enjoy any of them. Some of my Favrite episodes are,
Universe, by Robert Heinlein The Green Hills of Earth, by Heinlein The Veldt, By Ray Bradbury The Cold Equation, by Tom Godwin Cave Of Night, by James Gunn Skulking Permit, by Robert Sheckley A Gun For Dinosaur, by L. Sprague DeCamp A Pail of Air, by Fritz Leiber Lulunganeena, by Gordon R. ****son's Project Trojan, by Ernest Kinoy There Will Come Soft Rains, by Ray Bradbury
Most of them are really good some are just so so but I recomend giving it a try -------------------------------------------------------------------- Central Defiance says "check out our movie" DEFY |

I'm pretty sure they're not public domain yet.
Regardless, X-1 was a great radio show. Internet-radio station Live 365 has dozens of channels covering OTR (old-time radio). One channel in particular carries X-1 as well as many other sci-fi radio shows & series from that period. Also official radio-adaptations of classic sci-fi movies.
