Hi im new in eve and first of all i downloaded it from This site so i have no idea about controls but i know how warp and how stop movin and i can change graphics.Before i created account i saw that all text are small and i cant fix the problem.My res is 1024X768 in Windows And Eve.I cant understand text and im probally lost in spcae cause i accidentally warped.So can any1 help me?Answer me:
1.How change Res to understand text?
2.Tell me how do basic things?
3.How chat with other people to get help?
Please answer ASAP

1. While at the character selection screen, hit esc. This will bring up your options window. Go to the Graphics tab. in the lower right choose 12 pixals instead of 10 pixals. Hopefully that will help.
2. I suggest you go through the ingame tutorial. This will help you with learning how to mine, work with cargo, move your ship and interact with stations and pirates.
3. Your communications window should be available at all times. This is how you chat with other people. Just type in the box and watch what other people say. There will at least be two tabs in the communications window (Local and Corp).

i need more helps because well now i know many new things but the 1. didnt go straight yet.
ok so when i downloaded game it asked me "have you installed some res thing or something".I just downloaded eve from this site as i told and installed all 100% and i pressed yes so its this the problem why i cant get good fonts?I have chat with one m8 that helped me alot and chat fonts looks very good.Everything else is small.

i have Nvidia GeForcerFX and my windows and eve screen are 1024X768 and still fonts are small.They were small when i didnt even have account yet

why not try reducing ingame display to 1024*768?
My windows display is also 1280*1024 but cnaged ingame to 1024*768 and had no problems reading text.
Or second option => Got to the menu (esc key) at the generic tab u can set context menu font size to 12 pixels instead off 10.
If that doesnt help, try playing in window mode
Thats just about the same thing up there but thats all I colud find ..

Are the fonts unreadeble or just small?
I know some guys who insist on using a 800x600 resolution on a 20" display, else they pretend they couldnt read a thing.. ;-)

If the text is unreadable then there is a slider in the graphics otion that you can adjust to make the text clearer |

Hi,
Well apart from what other people have suggested then u are basically stuck with small text on ur hanger etc, there are no options to change the size of these fonts, but you can change the overall colour scheme which may help, i use the black option.
As for help getting started then the best bet would be to join a corp and then you can ask questions and they will help.
If you need any help in game then contact me, by going to people and places and doing a search for my name then right clik me and then communicate, then start converstation.
Also our corp is looking for new peeps and we can answer all ur questions and get u in a cruiser pretty quickly as well. .
