Tonight, Veritas Immortalis sent a roaming gang into Scalding Pass to strike into the very heart of Goonfleet territory, where they were engaged by 2 goonfleet Thanatos carriers on the 2-k gate in KZFV-4. In a quick but brutal battle the superior skills and discipline of the -V- pilots shone through, and both carriers were destroyed as well as a Harbinger battlecruiser with no losses to the -V- gang, which continued unimpeded on their incursion into hostile territory.
Mad props to dipwood and CSFFlame for bringing (losing) it.

well - thats funny because the whole fight started when i was engaged with a drake on the gate in my geddon, we had scout at the station and i was waiting for the carrier to undock and warp to the gate before jumping in our gang of 15 bs and 3 bc...
carrier appeared on gate, neutralized the **** out of me and deployed fighters... had my 49k armour tank down to 20% before i got remote armour from rest of my gang... doesnt seem like he was suffering much desynch to me...
thanks for bringing the carrier(s) to an unscouted gate... the only thing that puzzles me is why the second one had no fitting?? scarecrow ftl?

well if goons are stupid enough to test them when there are hostiles around, no one to blame but goon stupidity.
also the carriers warped to the gate, they wern't near a station or pos..
so once again goons acting stupid..
just keep undocking and we will keep shooting :P its not costing us anything except a few drones or ammo :P
