The only thing I think iffey is the situation for ships where there are 2 T2 variants. Like the new heavy interdictors soon. Ship invention is dicey already, now you want to cut dicey in half as well ?
Directed invention seems like a good feature they need to introduce.

Nawww man, it does not matter who gets the BPO, the whinage you hear is usually from people who are fairly new to EVE, or the ones who have no adapted to EVE properly and are jealous and think that T2 BPOs are the proverbial "end-game."

And, to reiterate, all jokes aside, the BPOs should be released to the public. Either through a lottery, or through a small chance of inventing an actual BPO.
Whatever the case may be, the demand would not be enough to satisfy the supply, it can only be done if we had at least 20 of Each BPO released + the Invention.

Yeah, sadly. I have nothing against that some people gets better profits over others because they WORK for it and got LUCK. You get lucky and you work for it (aka. grind standings and train skills and get those RP's dished out!)

No, invention works fine at the momment and has a real 'work for it to get your profit' than just the isks print it was!
Though I still have some LP left on my R&D agents! 
And it's not jackpot anymore, you can make way more isks through invention where you don't have the limited feature of producing from a single t2 BPO!

I'd like to have a lottery again.
It would add some spice to game - like, choice, what would you do - cash in your datacores and get a small constant profit but now, or preserve it and wait for a jackpot, but somewhen in the future.

no. the lottery doesn't work. besides, CCP said that since invention all new stuff that's not t1 would be created via invention.
invention needs alot of work to fix in order to make it viable, but it's still better than the t2 lottery of old which caters only for the rich to get richer since the same handfull of people get all the BPOs
