i'm wondering what are your ways to deal if you're faced with beeing damped, either single or blob? are own recon to backdamp the only viable way? how good work fof's or (ecm) drones to deal with the buggers?
sry for beeing nuub

Get drones out and "idle" before he aggros.
Use FoF's if you got'em.
Fly straight at him so he at least has to keep his mwd+point+damps going, can quite often presure them into leaving.
If your fast enough to catch him then obv catch him, web, pwn.

First thou shalt primary scorpions, unless they are sponge tanked for bait. Then thou shalt primary rook/BB/falcon, for they do not fight like men Third shalt though primary anything else resembling EW platform, and then we shalt duke it out. ___ P.S. Post with your main. one of the good things about flying a recon, is the huge base targetting range. the only thing that can get out of range and web (while dampening) is the arazu and lacheis.
other than that, I will add nothing to this thread. |

I slam on the MWD and get out of scramble range, point at the nearest safe spot and press 'warp'.

The relaly effective dampening ships (arazu, lachesis) dont have the cap to sustain 3x damp + scram for more than a minute or two so if you got the chance, just wait out their cap.

I would prefer an oversized battery myself ;) Then again that takes a valuable midslot.

With good skills you can sustain 3x named damps and 1 tech 2 scram indefinately on both ships even with a MWD fit (not active of course)..

most of the people i've talked to have no problems perma-running 3 damps / disruptor / guns

The best method i have found is undock a rook and jam one of the lachesis/arazu, then send a sabre or vaga straight at it and *****it (while jamming anything that endangers its life) then run off.
