Revan.
Why didn't you help your friends in KBP the other night? Saw you in local before the fight, saw you in local while fighting, and you where still cloaked when fight was over.
It seems to me you don't have a home, sleeping cloaked in your ship in any random system.

Conical? I was thinking Gandalf like at first, but then remembered i'd seen some pointy ones somewhere.
Conical would be like those cones often used on roads etc? I guess you could put one of those on... ----------------------------------------------

Yeah - I love this overstatements :) I count 50 or 60+ in local of kbp (and not all blue!) just before all SF and UK pilots jumping in. After they jumped we had round about 110 in local. For me this wasn't such outnubered all complained about. However, I was unlucky because I sat in a covert ops and saw this diashow-spectacle from distance...

Judging from just Star Fractions killboard alone on this issue the fight happened at 48-43 CVA/-7- against SF/UK/assorted others, with CVA killboards showing 46 hostiles involved in the fighting. A solid trouncing of Terrorist and Anarchist, and well, just pirate forces involved proceeded to happen. It appears The Lord is not on the side of the blood raider initiative, further proof of the heretical nature of your beliefs.

Yes it was a good fight but it was much more balanced in terms of numbers than Jade thought as this demonstrates:
http://dl.eve-files.com/media/0710/SFfight.JPG
Then again we all get excited at times and it is very easy to shout 'blob' 'login trap' 'omg haxxors' etc when you have just had a pasting.
Everyone is guilty of excessive drama sometimes as the other Providence thread on this forum demonstrates
Having fun is the main thing...

It was around 16 SF/allied Battleships and 27 smaller vessels vs:
22 CVA/allied Battleships and 26 smaller vessels.
On tonnage the CVA/allied probably had twice as much weight of ships given the majority of their support fleet was BC class while the SF/allied support was a mix from frigates/cruisers/battlecruisers.
However, we saw the chance and took it to jump in on a superior force with nothing but guts and courage and raw bravado to drive our efforts. Star Fraction Executor Jade Constantine was unshipped from her Raven. Sev3rance Executor Furiouspig was shot out of his Abaddon and CVA Executor Aralis was blown up in this Apocalypse - it was far from a one-sided trouncing as the Amarrian propagandists might claim.
Though significantly outgunned the SF/Ushra'khan/allied force managed bloody the CVA/client fleet and demonstrated absolutely no hesitation in following the instincts of courage and rushing to battle with joy and fair slaughter when the challenge is made.
This battle was won by the CVA.
There will be others.
See you in space.

Im sorry Jasmine, but was it not your significant other who just claimed by your own words that CVA had 100 ships compared to actual numbers? Its simply not as one sided as you tried to make out, and Star Fraction and friends were soundly beaten. Of course, we know your ego will not allow you to admit that so im happy to agree to disagree, and just let pilots draw their own conclusions on the fight.

Comments taken from a private chat with our Executor in the moments after a ship being blown up in a confused fleet battle do not constitute the formal public relations stance of SF reporting. If we believed you had 100 ships when the dust had cleared thats what we'd be posting in the war-diaries. After looking at the killmails and AAR's we're now sure we have a very accurate view of what occurred and thats precisely what I've posted above.
Yes we lost this fight. Yes we admitted we lost this fight immediately after we lost the fight. Yes well done you won this fight. What exactly are you looking for here Ikar - a medal or something? I don't know why you are smacking about "ego" on this forum when ever SF pilot has been entirly happy to acknowledge we lost that engagement. You held the field. Why turn it into smacktalk Ikar? Whats the point.
Have some humility in victory and you might find people dislike you less.

First of all Jasmine is not my significant other. Start to measure your words at least addressing the right person, if your QI can reach this level.
Secondly, the dialogue was set as a lover's play between Jade and I. Unless you do believe my doomsday is coming for you. I can take all the blame for my lover's overstatement. Jade knows I love some spiced words from his lips. Besides that I did cut a line on that dialogue where I replied " No love, it was a thousand ships and your holy missiles purged them all"

Probably because there has been plenty of smack towards the CVA in this campaign concerning forum warfare, intelligence, body composition/weight, pointy hats, not to mention our supposed inability to defend our space...before any major engagement by Star Fraction and AzA forces against the CVA had even taken place.
Now such a fight has taken place, the results have spoken loudly, and I imagine it was a nice release for those CVA pilots who have watched all the talk and remained silent to this point.
You're right, though: you'll have plenty of other chances. The fight continues.

I think people watching this thread can reach their own conclusions of who the smack-talk fiends are in this conflict Garreck. If you cannot control the tongues of people like Ivkar when you win a battle against a force that jumps into you with smaller numbers then you are going to have to expect some hard remarks in return when (and if) we do ever see the CVA fleet fighting less advantageous terms.
Still, war continues - doubtless opportunities will come. And for whats it worth I do feel the Sev3rance people thus far involved in public comment have done themselves a lot more respect that the CVA have. Try to live up to their standards Garreck. Thats all anyone can ask.

So what does any of this have to do with Y-MPWL?
I'm getting really concerned right now after realizing that my favorite cookie-baking spot might change owners. How will oven temperature be effected? Can I still get just the right spices to maintain our high standards, producing baked goods that are sweet, yet still a touch savory?
This stuff is all very worrying.
What's worse, Derek Knows Us now has a sovereignty claiming POS in system! I've heard really bad things about those guys and I'm pretty sure they are terrible bakers.

You guys got it all wrong.
Star Fraction had Sovereignity. CVA killed their Poses. Sani Sabik sent a thousand ships to KPB against UK and had an overview issue, targeted sev3rance who targeted 100 CVA ships while I was away bringing cookies. Y-MPWL fell under Derik Knows Us Sovereignity meanwhile while I was traveling back to KPB with my doomsday ready to end the party.
