Anticlockwise, however...
if I stop thinking (can only do it for a few seconds.) it turns clockwise, I just stare at the image and stop thinking.
What's really odd is it turns one way for a few seconds, then the other way for a few seconds, did this for like 20 minutes.

Man, that was craaaazy! At first she looked like she went anti-clockwise, then she started going clockwise and I was convinced that was all she was doing because she kept going around and around, but then I actually focused and suddenly she was going anti-clockwise again.
P.S. Analyzing the GIF is moronic, it's an optical illusion, there's no right or wrong answer. I also don't buy the whole artistic vs. logical thing.

Able to change the direction on demand, just tilt you body left and your head left, it'll change, then tilt the body right and head right and it'll swap direction again. Pretty cool none the less

I tick most boxes in the left hand column, yet also can only see her twirling clockwise. Have tried up / down / left / right / focussed / defocussed / staring at the text / looking at her foot / looking at her head / reloading page 20 times in case it loads a different GIF as a trick ...
... nah, still only twirling clockwise.

I also only saw it going clockwise, and couldn't change it...
...until I tried looking at it upside down. After a few seconds, it switched direction. I then turned my head to view it the right way up, and it continued turning anti-clockwise for a few seconds before switching back to clockwise.
Seems to be the only way I can get it to switch direction.

Definitely not fake.
I always see it going clockwise - I've tried every trick listed here, and it just always goes clockwise.
I had another guy standing behind me watching it, and it went counter clockwise most of the time for him, but changed from time to time.

That's some really weird ****. At first I saw it going clockwise, tried to concentrate to make it go otherwise, but it wouldn't. So after a while I just changed tabs to see, what people have commented here, checked the figure again and then it was turning ANTI-clockwise... I'm pretty much stunned.

She never stops going clockwise for me but when I showed my mum she could see it go both ways and thought I was winding her up when I couldn't see it the same as her 
It's worse than those bloody magic eye pics where you have people saying 'it's a dolphin, it's a tree' and all i can see are baked beans

Took me a bit, but finally i found a way that works for me, just look at it out of the corner of my left eye and it changes direction, slowly move my head back around to the front and concentrate, but if i break my concentration it switches back to anti clockwise : /

I see it both ways. It changes direction when I look at the shadow of the foot. The first time it was anti-clockwise, then it goes clockwise after looking at the shadow and it stays that way until I look at the shadow again.
I get the wierdo vote for that surely?

Read something about this recently.
I like the trick where you place your hand over a watch, then take it away quickly and look at the change of seconds. Do it a few times. Did you notice the lag?! For some people that second can drag out to almost 2.

At first I could only see clockwise, no matter how hard I tried. But now I can switch directions up once per rotation at most. It takes a hell of a lot of concentration though!

ok i was about to write a semi rant and say how obvious it was thats its turning Clockwise which is how i saw it when i loaded the page...
once i used to "instructions" in the quote i made above.. it now turns counter clockwise and i cant stop it turning counter clockwise even though i closed the page and rebooted the pc... i am going to tilt my head to the right now and try it. Maybe she will go clockwise again..
but the first time i saw it she was "clockwise"

Apparently, I am right brained because I first saw it go clockwise. I was only able to get it to switch to anti clockwise after looking at here foot shadow (2dimensional object) to which I could make her leg swing infront of her planted leg or behind it.
