Most important skills will be Navigation V, High Speed Maneuvering IV or V, and Acceleration control IV or V. Evasive maneuvers V is a big help plus a prereq for interceptors.

Need to get it out to 16km to avoid medium neuts. Anyways, the standard nanoship setup is as follows
As many missile launchers as possible. Some gun which can hit out at 16km. MWD 24km scram Cap rechargers Bunch of internal nanofiber structures, overdrives, and inertial stabilizers. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |

for your actual speed you're going to want about 5 km/s or so. because of that speed you're going to need guns that can hit at that speed...missiles are a good choice and so are drones. if you get a target painter (assuming you have the slot for it) u will be better off still. keep in mind it's not just about your speed but your angular velocity.

Nanofiber internal structures mixed with overdrive injectors and maybe a inertial stab.
No point going 10k m/s when u accelerate like a 90 year old up mount everest
Mids - Mwd (must :P) Distruptor , Large capacitor battery II (gives ur penalty back and in most cases better cap recharge than a recharger) Then a few dampeners and a shield extender for a lil extra buffer until they loose lock.
high - guns w/ good tracking to kill drones so u can orbit without mwd and pwn them. Oh and guns which have more optimal of 15k so u dont get webbed.
Man please change the arty sound from the pathetic but classic pew to something more like "chung chunk" I want meaty arty. |

Why missiles??
'Cause they dont care about your own angular velocity, or what ever its called. Meaning they arent limited by tracking speeds. This ofcourse only helps if your target isnt flying away from your missiles at a speed thats greater than the velocity of the missiles or the missiles explosion velocity. But then using a speed tanked intercepter to catch another speed tank is a whole other matter.. in that case you would want to be below webbing range and use your own webbers on him..

Because guns won't hit for **** when you're going 6 km/sec in a 16km orbit. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |
