Short story.
I wanted a 1 vs 1, my Raven vs Methodmo's Sleipner. I asked for my fight and then for several minutes I was called names, dishonorable, not worthy of a 1 vs 1, blah blah blah. So finally he sends me an invite saying this for an honorable 1 vs 1 and he is in a safe spot.
Needless to say I wanted a fight, even if he brought friends I didnt care. However when I warped to him, I found myself at a pos. So I cloaked and aligned out. Uncloaked and warped before the batteries got a hold of me. Anyhow thank you Methodmo and youwhat for fearing my raven so much you felt you needed to do this even with an eos, ishtar, huginn, in system to help you if things went sour. Fear caladari pvp hehe 8)

All the 'elite' PvPers fit cloaks on combat ships. They usually stab them up as well. Ask BE, PL and a few others.

First thing I would've done if I was invited to a gang for a potential 1v1 in low sec/0.0 and asked to warp to my opponent would be to scan for a POS.

I didnt scan a pos because it was 24 au away. and I did scan it on my way in which is why I didnt panic and die to it. So stop assuming im an idiot, most people would have died in that situation.

Most people wouldn't agree to a 1on1 when the opponent has a slew of corp mates on local. Oh well, would have made a more entertaining story if something actually blew up.

So, how did his CEO react when you contacted him, and why you didn't post details about that?
At least personally I think it's not fair to judge whole alliance according to isolated acts of single player(s). Not till the leaders have had chance to react on it.
Should his CEO, and the alliance diplomat, tell you something along "we don't care", then we might have reason to see them all as dishonorable.

wow i made it on the forum...
well your short story is'nt very correct now is it...
u tried engaging me twice...i let u shoot/damp me while u were 100km out of the gate i did'nt even turn on my hardners i just took your raw dmg and tanked it with ease...
reds came in twice when u tried engaging me twice i jump out once...
during my jumpout u were smacking local about me....
when i reentered system and went for a simple ss 13 au away from all 3 gates i listened to your whining for about 20 mins or longer cant recall the exact time it lasted...
eventually i gave in to your request and ganged u so i could altleast try and sh*t u up...u never arrived and claimed to be at a pos 24 au away from gate....i know the system well and there is no moon 24au away from there wich has a pos on it...
now a 1vs1 is honorable if both pilots agree to fight,i will always respect that and honor that 100%...it is not when out of nowhere local jumps when u try to engage me twice in a row...
strange is'nt it...

I apologize it was 14.7 au not 24 I hit the wrong button, reguardless still off scanner from the alsa gate. Lofty can tell you I just want fights, I dont care if I die. I 1 vs 1 his eos and lost. Even let his domi friend watch it. As for the smack, I only retaliate, you start it I finish it.
