Over the last couple of weeks m0o has recruited wholesale, several corps and numerous individuals. Many of these new members were somewhat clueless at pvp, a cry on Tuesday morning breaking over teamspeak "Thats my first battleship kill that ive gangked" somewhat giving the game away from one of the new people. To boot, a lot of the old skool players started playing the utter tosh that is SWG, leaving those that remained with the nubs.
So it came to pass that I decided my time with the infamous m0o corp was indeed reaching its end.
Now the dilema : leave rich or leave poor?
Having recently gone half on a typhoon BPO with Omniwar (who mde his initial fortune from a corp theft many moons ago), I then decided to "borrow" as much isk from members as I could and a scorpion from Fairlane.
I then turned my back on the corp and my misguided ways to join the side of right. No longer do I randomly murder, mutilate and steal from innocent pilots.
Over a billion richer thanks to my m0o "retirment fund" I am now a proud protector of all that is good and proper in this universe.
Was my final act as a member of m0o my lowest ever? Yes. I have betrayed old friends and allies and will at some point face them on the field of battle.
Maybe they will get some degree of revenge, maybe not, but this week everyone who has ever lost a ship and or clone to the scurge that is m0o may take some satisfaction at thier misfortune.
May the gods forgive my sins, iam sure m0o will not.

Oddly enough many of our new corp members have come from Stain Alliance, and what do you do? Join Stain Alliance.

I somewhat admired m0o. But from what I have gathered in these 4 days in Eve that this Miz fellow is a total n00b. Why would he ever wear the m0o tag nevermind be able to collect so many funds from "friends". This is a joke right? You werent really friends with this n00b? SAy it aint so. m0o please reclassify the term friend and more importantly reclassify your morals in "who" you are friends with.

I guess the proverb "What goes around comes around" is fitting in this situation. Afterall, several members of m0o have robbed corporations IIRC.
Time will tell if you get to enjoy your ill gotten gains, but as an old m0o member you have enjoyed ill gotten gains for a long time, so I see no reason that should change.

History tends to repeat itself, when Miz decides to put the knife in the back of MASS (which btw, he will eventually) I hope they're prepared to have some of their assets stolen as well.
Anyways, Miz didn't steal from m0o, because m0o has no corporate assets. He stole from people that trusted him, and called him a friend.
If you ask me that's worse than corp theft and shows you what kind of guy Miz is.

No one from m0o is crying, not even the ones who were the ones betrayed to be honest. If Miz wants to show everyone the kind of person he truly is, he can.
His post speaks for itself and tells you what he is and what he will do, as a member of your corporation given time.
m0o never wronged Miz in any way, if this is how he wants to be, so be it. I would tell MASS to kick Miz out, but that would be doing them a favor, in the long run.

I guess I just don't understand it is all.
The friendships I've made with my corpmates, are worth far more to me then isks. You get to know your corpmates fairly well, especially if you use voice coms, and, I would never screw over any of em. If my corp left eve for another game, I would drop eve like a bad habit and go with em.
So Miz. The only question that really matters.

Don't spout that crap bout noobs etc. You joined a corp that is going to have a constant influx of noob recruits, and non pvp folks. Has to be a better reason then that.

I don't understand how stealing from people who trusted you is any different than PKing.
In fact, no matter what direction a player has chosen, stealing from the people who trusted you and were good enough to give to you is much, much worse than ganking ships and pods.
As for your justification, it should disgust all of the EVE community that you feel that stealing from trusting individuals, especially corpmates, somehow will wash away all your past "sins".
All in all, EVE is just a game and all amounts to nothing in real life. However, the friendships and hard work that some players put into this game is all too real, and it is that which concerns me the most.
It is quite ironic; you have proven that no matter how aggressive a player is in-game, and no matter how unforgiving they are in combat, the real person behind that character could actually be a nice guy who trusts the people he plays with enough to give away a part of his gaming experience in the form of ships and isk.
To conclude:
There is a fine line between in-game tactics and betraying the trust of people who call you a friend.
You crossed that line by first conspiring with MASS.
Then you started to jog a little further over that line by borrowing large amounts of isk with no intent on paying it back.
You quickened your pace past this line by borrowing a battleship; again, with no intention of giving it back.
And after all of that, in your twisted mind, you were still able to justify your actions because you stole trust from those that took modules from others.
You are the lowest of the low, and although I do not wish to publicly wish you harm, I hope that what I have written will somehow seep into that hard head of yours.
We, the EVE community are not this easily fooled. The only reason you did this was personal wealth and glamour. Furthermore, you only performed your theft after you were sure you had a corporation to hide behind.
The people that were killed by m0o i'm sure may have grinned for a minute at your news, but I assure you, if the same thing were (or already has) happened to them, they will think of you and wish that they had not rejoyced in this missfortune.
To MASS:
If what Miz says about your knowledge of his plans is true, I sincerely hope that you seriously think about who you have really invited in amoungst your ranks with an unbiased mind.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. I'm sure I will sleep well.

I really dont understand why you have done what you have done Miz. From the posts I have read, you have not had a falling out with mOo and I understand that you have been in the corp for a long time, made a lot of friends etc.
I can understand you wanting to leave the corp but to steal from the corp and then put this post up, I just dont understand why anybody would do something like that to their friends (I am assuming you had friends in mOo right?) .Even if this was done under the guise of roleplaying (which doesnt appear to be the case) its still a pretty lame thing to do.
Good luck with whatever you do from now on, from what I have seen in other mmorpg's though your reputation is everything, I think you have just thrown yours out of the window and doubt if anyone who does this to there corps mates will be trusted by even their closest Eve friends in the future

Well Omniwar can't complain really since he stole more than Miz did. Having said that Omniwar is still a nice guy OOC, Miz might well be that but I wouldn't know.
While stealing can be a RP trait I personally abhor it. I'm just an old fashioned team player, I will grunt for my team because I know they will grunt for me.
EVE is in many ways a very social orientated game. Your enjoyment is usually directly related with your team mates.

Well Miz, itÆs is sad to see you go like this as your witty comments and humor always made me laugh on TS. I rolled into battle with you for the better part of 5 months and I still get nostalgic talking about the time when ôthe Fourö went into fountain. I remember you saying several times that that was the best 5 hours of eve you ever had. We had some really good times.
I donÆt know your full intentions, whether it is to gain as much isk as you can and ebay or that you are truly going to explore the lighter side of eve. Personally it doesnÆt really matter to me even though Omniwar, Fairlane, and I were burned the most.
What gets me is that you called those that trusted you fools. I guess itÆs because we trusted you like a brother. I donÆt think someone who helps a friend out is a fool. You gained about a billion isk but lost 3 really good friends. I know this sounds cheesy but I would miss a friend more then the 90mil you took from me.

Hardly. Miz took about 500mil from Omni, a scorp from Fairlane, 90mil from me, and about 20mil each from a few others. This is really just pocket change to us. What wasnÆt pocket change was the friend we lost and the respect we had for him.

I'm a little sad you didn;t feel you could express your unhappyness with the recruitment drive but I understand your change in direction.
As for suprising us, I'm afraid on that count my friend you are sadly mistaken. We had wind that something was going on with you almost a full week before you left, some people decided to risk lending you cash, some didn't.

What gets me is that you called those that trusted you fools. I guess itÆs because we trusted you like a brother. I donÆt think someone who helps a friend out is a fool. You gained about a billion isk but lost 3 really good friends. I know this sounds cheesy but I would miss a friend more then the 90mil you took from me.
Yes its sad that you chose a sum of 1 billion isk over 3 of your closest ingame friends, Miz. But that speaks volumes about your character. You might be 1 billion richer but you still come out of this experience a poorer man.

This sort of betrayal disgusts me, i wouldnt even wish it on an enemy, the fact players can stoop so low as to break bonds of freindship, honour and loyalty for some pretend currency is beyond my reasoning....

There are several ways to see and judge this.
From a roleplay point of view a corp teft from a pirate with in a pirate corp is only natural. And any roleplayer would see this as something to expect.
From a semi roleplay point of view lending ISK from friends you have become to know with in Teamspeak and thn claming its roleplay. Well thats just sick. None of them you lend isk from felt it was a ingame loane. The trust to lend you the isk was based on a out of game view on you. Riping them of was really really bad. And can not be clamed as something to expect. In fact its much worce then PKing.
In the end i think riping corps and your friends off is low.
The only reasons to have some repect left on you is the fact that you intend to stay in game, not deleting your account and play with an new alt. This meens you are prepared to stay in game and take the heat from all parts who feel the right to do so. This shows some guts and at least should be recogniced for what it is.
I feel for the Moo members that have lost isk, a friend and probably have dire problems in trusting "friends" at the same lvl in game. That you should know are a great loss for them. Which you most certanly have forced up on them, ruening there game. Not something to be proud of.
Member of MASS and Moo dont make a diference for us. We will still kill you in game :)
