Anybody know all the major allainces of the game and the minor and neutral groups?
I know CA and SA are at war... I have no clue where moo fits into this or on what side...
heard of Pheonix alliances and some minor ones...
anybody help clarify the situation?
Cant wait to have these wars with the stationary structures...

Fountain Alliance
Forsaken Empire
Stain Alliance
Xetic = Xetic and Immenisia Thingie ma Bob?
Arcadia Alliance
Outer Ring Alliance?
CFS
The Curse Alliance and Stain Alliance are involved in proberly one of EVE's oldest wars now.
The Forsaken Empire was at war with the Fountain Alliance, but withdrew to merge with the Curse Alliance.
The Fountain Alliance had a few skirmishes with the FE and CA, but for now they seem reletivly quiet.
Xetic/Immenisia are pretty much peaceful people, they claim the regions past curse/stain and claim neutraility in the CAvsSA wars.
CFS were getting beaten up by the FA, not sure on how this progresses now.
Arcadia Alliance recently claimed another region under their protectorate, and patrols this for pirates.
I think thats the major alliances covered, or the more 'well known', sorry if i forgot anything

Oh yeah, forgot the m00 part.
m00 aren't directly associated with any one alliance, they used to be in the CA, but left the CA and went back to moving as a single group.
I seem to remember a recent article about m00 hiring arcane tech to look after an area of space they 'rented' to Techell, no idea if it was a wind up or not.

Its actually easiest to judge all the alliances by their relationship to the Curse allaince, hence:
The Curse Alliance
Those ones near the CA who get beaten often
Those ones right next to the CA who hide behind them and dont fight
Those ones a little further from the CA who are scared of them and are collapsing.
Those ones far from the CA who exploit the weakness of those a little further from CA to take terriatory.
Those ones on the other side of the map from CA who dont really matter but think they do.

Personally i don't think it all turns around the Curse alliance, sure we have war with some alliances, sure we can take all these alliances at the moment. But lets not forget that all these alliances do their own thing and fight their own fight. I don't think that every alliance feel threatend by Curse and there shouldn't be much reason.
CFS > attacked Curse
Stain > attacked curse
These mayor wars were started against Curse, we are actually very nice and innocent people who love to mine alot.

Yea, eve politics is and can never evolve around 1 alliance.
One thing i do have to admit also, that corps like m0o and evolution go a long way to altering game politics, i like that, their the cataclysm in eve that keep it all fluidic.
I think once were rid of SA we'll see more ventures from the CA, but for the momment we've got a backyard fight to win before we do anything else, having such a large enemy like stain right next to us inhibits us from doing much fighting with others.

Curse = war with Stain
PA = war with Evol
CFS = pretty much dead
FA = at war with no one
Norad = at war with no one
Stain = as before war with Curse

People have said CFS is dead or dying since the last time CA decided to attack. I'll believe it when it actually happens, they may not be great at PvP but they generally seem to pull through despite everyone screaming how dead it is.
When I went through their space last night on my way to another region, it seemed plenty alive to me.
