Are there any builds(which modules to equip) which help a Vexor tank level 1, 2, and possibly 3 missions, with relative ease except for the few exceptions(Damsel in Distress, The Blockade, etc)?

lows: Medium Rep II, 1600mm tungsten plate, 2 armor hardener specific for the mission. mids: medium cap injector w/ 800 charges. 2 whatever. highs: drone link augmentor, small guns.
This setup has the tank and hp buffer to handle any level 3 mission if you play smart. Some tough L3 will require one warp out to repair to full but the rest are pretty easy. |

It gives a resistance bonus but its not really "high" unless your talking about the boost to hull resists.

I currently use
drone augmentor 3x cap charger MAR / DC / 1600 plate / thermal hardener
doesnt look great but it works, the hammers do all the work and missions such as blockade you can go afk once the waves aggro you, your drones will be able to clean up.

Mkay, these are ridiculous Plates-useless for missions. All they give you is a little more time to let you warp out. Resists > buffer for missions. Cap injectors-they run out WAY too fast, are bulky, etc.
A setup I'd go with Drone link augumentor. As many 250mm railguns as you can go with, loaded with iron charges Rest of the highs filled with 125 or 150mm railguns. Afterburner 2 cap rechargers MAR (Medium Armor Repairer) Suitcase (aka damage control, gives you non-stacking-penalized resist boni and a good deal more hull in case all goes to ****) 2x mission-specific armor hardeners
The tactic with this ship is to try to get like 50km from your enemies, let your drones do most of the work while supplementing it slightly with the 250s. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |

Dont knock what you havent tried, passive tanking can work very well for missions, esp on drone boats. A 1600 plate on a vexor and a MAR will enable you to tank all Level 2 mishes and you have your high slots free for salvaging

You want a "fitting".
Build and equip are not eve terms. :D
Try: Lows: MARII 2xRat Specific Hardeners 1xDCII or EANMII
Rigs: 3xAuxilliary Nano Pump I
Mids: 3xCap Recharger II
High: Whatever railguns fit

I did all L2s and all but the toughest L3s with the above setup (and I didn't really need the railguns except to draw aggro). Besides, this philosophy of maxed resists + rep carries through to higher-level missions. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |
