Hello all, I recently started training for the Amarr Battlecruiser class. As a dedicated armor tanker & serious missioner (with my connections skill I have a level 5 agent) I would like to know which of these two BC's is THE preferred platform?
I can use active hardeners, Tech II cap chargers, Rigs, and Tech II drones as well as Tech II reppers. I am leaning to the Harbinger due to the bonus to damage ( I bought 6x Heavy Modulated Beams) but the Prophecy has caught my eye with it's resistances.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on these vessels from missioners that use them regularly for ALL level 3 and SOME level 4's. I intend to equip either ship with 3x CCC's as well for cap help, along with T2 cap chargers in the mids as I have Nav 5 to help with speed.
Thank you all in advance.

Harbinger for level 3 missions. Do not even attempt any level 4's in an amarr BC. __________________________ It's great being Amarr, ain't it?

Even a full T2 fitted Harbinger can have some hard time against some lvl 3 missions if you don't work your way and agro the whole "dungeon"... Still I prefer it over the Prophecy's tanking bonuses as damage dealing is also a form of tanking...less enemy DPS to worry about a lot faster.
I recently run a few lvl 3's (including some tough ones) in a Harbi (just lvl 3 BC skill) and I had no problem using rat specific T2 hardeners...I opt for 2 Τ2 Hards + T2 Damage Control - that leaves space for 2x Heatsinks. You can go for 3 EAMN II or 3 rat specific Hardeners + DC II if you feel less comfortable.
Highs: 6x Heavy Beam II - Tractor Beam - Salvager
Meds: 10mn AB II - X5 webber or named tracking computer - 2x Cap Rechargers II (or Eutectic)
Beams put out less DPS than Pulses, but are perfect for lazy mission running, as you don't have to approach that close each time...if you fight EM/Thermal weak targets they melt everything - no sweat.
And of course use your T2 Drones to control dmg types and raise your DPS quite a bit :) Be careful tho, as Hammerheads II are quite pricy...

I fly both of these ships for lvl 3's as i keep them at different agents that i go between. Both are great ships and do lvl 3's easily but i prefer using the Harbinger. The DPS makes it more fun and with 7 lasers and a couple of HS it tears through missions faster than the Prophecy. Don't worry about the slightly lesser tank as it's DPS makes up for it. If you like to run lots of missions for standings / loot or whatever the Harbinger is the better choice for getting it done faster.
Run lvl 4's in an Abaddon ^^

Thank you all for the advice, it seems the Harbinger is the way to go for a few weeks till I get a fully kitted out Abaddon for the 4's. Much obliged.
