Take it down. If you fix it later, re-add it. but take it down until then. Then flog your webmaster repeatedly while force feeding him endless bowls of day old cold ramen.
Seriously though, lack of features is better than out-dated or broken stuff. Clean house. Have a throw-out. Then worry about polishing what's left before fixing or re-adding anything.

The real problem isn't even the lack of communication (they said there is a problem a lot over the course of 1-2 years). The problem is that nobody is taking ANY action (visible to us) after sending a response mail or posting on the forums that there is indeed a problem.
Is it really such a mission-impossible to fix this? I almost can't believe it would be.

Perhaps the website and forums are no priority at all. People have stopped submitting pics a long time ago. I thought CCP cares so much about publicity. If any serious magazine or something like that makes a report about eve and finds the screenshot gallery like it is atm, .... I let you figure out the rest.
I dont believe that any golden bar will appear in here any time soon. Its a shame.

Just to make my presence felt in this thread, I can follow this up when I return to Iceland once my sojurn in the UK is over.
I do know that work was being done on it, after discussing the matter with Garthagk. I can't promise a date for it to be fixed, but I will ensure that the right people are aware of the rather embarrasing problem of the fan submission site.
