The Repair Tool spits an error or the EVE Online?
The more details you post the better I can help you:
- OS version?
- Which virus scanner are you running?
- Any logs you can get your hands on?

We had an issue in an older version not granting Administrator access correctly, can you try running the repair tool as Administrator? CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

IF YOU RUN INTO A VERIFICATION ERROR AFTER INSTALLING THE LATEST EVE ONLINE PATCH PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Open Windows Task Manager and check if there is still an ExeFile.exe Process running, end the process if that is the case.
- Run the repair.exe located in the EVE Online installation (if you run into problems try to run it again as Administrator).
PS. Thank you very much everybody for hanging in. CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

- Have you tried running the repair tool as administrator?
- Which version of the repair tool are you using (see lower left corner in the Repair Tool window)?
- Did you have issues using the repair tool before?
- Which Anti-Virus are you using and are you running a local Firewall?

This sounds like and issue with your graphics settings or DirectX dlls, can you try to run bin\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe (located within your EVE Online installation) and if this isn't working try cleaning your cache? CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

Thanks for the info.
Looking into this, might be one of the edge servers having bad data, should have more info within the next 30 minutes.

OK we ran a purge of the Repair Tool Data file on all Edge servers, you should be able to use the repair tool now.
If you still have trouble could you please let me know from which country/region you are connecting and if possible your ISP so we can start an investigation with our CDN into this matter. CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

Here you can find the entire Microsoft Support Article about this but the important bit is:

- Right-click the icon that you use to run the program, and then click Run as administrator.
- When you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the administrator password, or click Continue.

Just to verify again what you've already tried, to make sure nothing obvious was missed:
- You already checked that there is no ExeFile.exe Process running anymore on your computer?
- You ran the repair tool as administrator?
- You already cleared you cache and settings?
- You turned off your Virus Scanner while the repair tool is working?
Sorry for all this stabbing at the dark but I can't do a lot from my end without being able to reproduce this issue myself, the more details you can give me the better and don't be shy to asks questions (you can send me EVEMails as well). CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |
