First off, when I opened the EVE client I had to accept the EULA again. Why?
Then, having done that, it refuses to accept my login details.

That would be because you mindlessly clicked you way though the patch download, install and success notification without reading anything your computer was telling you....INCLUDING THE PATCH NOTES!!!
Honestly I don't understand how people like you manage to own a computer, I mean reading the instructions on the card machine in the shop must be a right ball ache!
