SirKnyghtMare	Posted - 2007.10.16 19:03:00 - [4280] A Proxy is a connection you make to EVE but isn't the actual EVE server cluster. The proxy most likely controls the connection queue and acts as a load balancer, forwarding clients to the EVE server with the fewest players or least load.

Most people got annoyed because no one from CCP was around to clarify the problems. Some simple communication with the customers would have been nice.
