I've never seen actual names on the corpse once they are in my cargo bay or hanger. They have always been named "corpse" despite the fact that when u see them in space they show the players name, I've always had to select "show info" to see who's corpse was in my hanger. |

So instead of seeing something like "Billy Joebob's Frozen Corpse" on the overview, it's just a corpse but we can still get info on it?
This is interesting but I always wondered how our ships can pick up a corpse on the overview and know who it was.
If there is a change in corpse management and handling, perhaps this is but a small sign that in the future, there will be more we can do with corpses, such as perhaps salvage implant components from them?
We should hope.

It does seem to be one of those pointless changes, at least pointless to the casual observer. Though not being able to link corpses seems to deny us a major demoralization tactic. |

This. Nothing's changed for me. Hangar has never shown and still doesnt show any names and show info window has/does.
Besides, corpses is the one thing in eve where quantity has more meaning than quality... my corpses are all horses with no names. in the desert.

It would be easier to tell the difference visually, but after 3 days in the burning sun, their skin begins to turn red.

After all, it's only a rotten, freeze-dried piece of meat now, not really useful for anything besides feeding your pets. You wouldn't name your steak would you?
