They may fly like Mercury but they die just about as fast too if you can get a piece of them. The key is to space out your shots so you're always hitting them (rather then in waves), so not to lose an opportunity to shoot when their angular-v is ebbing to the low side. It's a long shot to be sure but given the choice I'd rather go down firing as not. 'Sides, they do die really fast if you can sink some rounds into them by sheer luck.
