Edited by: Denuo Secus on 17/10/2007 13:28:27 Hi all,
I hope this feature wasn't discussed already - at least I found nothing of the sort in 'Commonly Proposed Ideas' ...
So how about more than only one button for orbiting and keeping distance at a user predefined value? I wish I could define at least two orbit and range distances for quick access in a battle!
Thus I could adapt my range very quickly depending on a tactical situation. For instance: if I switch from conflagration to scorch crystals and want to change my orbit from 6km to 18km. And I think there are more applications...
I suggest two dropdown buttons instead today's orbit and range buttons. These dropdowns could be filled with various user defined ranges for all kinds of purposes. Selection is easy... just click the dropdown button and select a desired value :)
If I overlooked an already existing feature please tell me *g But imo I have to edit these one default value for orbit and range every time during combat.
There _are_ already some fix predefined values (1.0km, 2.5km, 5.0km ...). But I think there are not exact enough. And 'Keep at rage' has only 50m, 200m and 500m :(
Edit: keyboard shortcuts for every dropdown entry would be even better! :D

Hell yes.
Or, my personal favourite: remember what my settings are for each ship. Ratting in a Raven at 85km, get a call, jump into my Crusader. Yeah, 85km out before you know it. Not good.
The client can store the settings for module layout, why not this?
