Hello Capsuleers,
Tranquility will undergo an emergency downtime at 19:45 UTC on Tuesday, January 24 to fix an issue with starbases and the new fuel blocks. We have identified thatsome issues came up concerning new fuel for POS'es. If you hadnot stocked up on this new fuel the tower went offline, structures could go into a stuck state.
This reboot will rectify the problem and we expect Tranquility to be back in service no later than 20:00 UTC. CCP Navigator -Community Manager |

So the people who didn't/ were unable to stock up on the new fuel are unable to put them back online after the patch?

No rollback, as far as I am aware. This reboot will fix the stuck starbases and allow them to function as normal.

Have you investigated claims that fully fueled POS's, with blocks, shut down as well? |

Do a rollback and you'll invite yourself to have to do one EVERYTIME you patch. Let the lazy tards be penalized for not fueling. |

Not fuelling is one thing. I agree that there's no excuse for that even if your POS was stuck - too bad, you should have fuelled it. But there are claims that some POS went offline despite having fuel blocks in them. |

It's only fair then, i guess. Go right ahead while they are warm.
Just don't ever forget that CCP is indiscriminate when screwing people over. Next time a bug like this happens, you might find yourself on the other side. Rated ARG for Pirates. **** you. |

Unless the issue affected all (or perhaps most) of the POS's lost, I would not expect a rollback. Even then, there would need to be enough of a mess that it would be easier to rollback, than to fix it manually. That assumes that there was an issue caused by CCP error and not player error. Are you certain that you had the correct fuel type loaded? |

Also, the lazy, ignorant, or just plain stupid tend to get screwed over far more often... An idea I had to promote small gang, and solo PVP - Targeted Cyno-Jamming Modules.
