I've seen a few atlases, textbooks, novels, peer-reviewed journal articles make spelling mistakes too. Not exactly the most unusual thing ever, although I do agree it can cause the quirk of an eyebrow every now and then.

Ontario is on the map, with a little arrow. Ontario is a province, not a city. Everything else listed is a city. Why Ontario?

Not all are listed as cities. Nebraska and New Hampshire are states. On the right side Nebraska isn't listed but Omaha is so I would assume Omaha, Nebraska..... although New Hampshire is listed both on map and side bar with no mention of its city.
