Got mine this morning together with "the Art of EVE" (from amazon-com) - nice coincidence (book ordered September, 7th) but I have to leave it behind and go working. Imagine my first actions when I get home from work...

Good - glad I'm not the only one still waiting...
Ironicly however - I ordered EON 9 - and the order tracking page said it shipped on a Friday - not gonna look up the dates cause I'm lazy... ANYWAY - I also ordered EON 1 - cause I wanted to get it. The ship date for that one was actually the following tuesday - and I've received that one - but not EON 9 - which supposedly shipped like 4 days prior.
So go figure... the one I'm excited to get... doesn't get here...

Edited by: DC223 on 25/10/2007 04:40:13 For whatever reason I usually skip past the fictional stories but the artwork accompanying one of the stories caught my attention. It's of a young lady covering her mouth in disbelief while hovering over a dead body who's chest looks like an Alien crawled out.
The story is "Green Dreams" by John Kastronis. For those of you who have this issue but haven't read it yet it's an absolute must read for any Sci-Fi fan. I was completely blown away by how good it was. Each sequence of events kept pulling me deeper and deeper into the story. His visually descriptive writing enabled me to mentally envision the short scenes, and the little nuances of how each character changes over time was very very well done.
No longer will I be skipping the short fictional stories. In fact, after checking out the other ones in this issue, I'll be going into my back issues to "catch up" on them all and make sure I didn't miss any other great writings.
Immersive stories like these are reason enough to subscribe to EON. Keep up the high-quality, highly-entertaining, professional job MMM and I'll keep subscribing. Thanks!

Hi there! I'm from Slovenia, Europe. I checked tracking status and my copy was shipped Oct. 5th, thats 20 days ago. I also checked with my mate (same city), his mag was shipped same day and he received it almost a week ago ... It looks to me that I'm waiting something that will not arrive :/
BTW, this is second issue after I re-subscribed to Eon (second 1 year subscription). Number 8 came also lately, and to my surprise traveled first to Romania, repackaged into another plastic wrap with some french papers an than delivered to my address.

Exactly :). The chronicle "Exchange rate" is the reason I continued to subscribe to and help with EON. The chronicles alone are worth it, which reminds me that I have actualy not bothered reading them for the last three issues and should get stuck in when I have time.

For those of us who never get our EON issue, do we get our money back? It's been almost 3 weeks since I ordered mine and I assume I will never get it and I've lost my money.

Mail MMM, tell them you haven't gotten it yet, give them your subscriber info and they'll send a new one. It happened to me a few issues back, I mailed them and they sent me another one that arrived 2 days after they confirmed it...

Wow. I'm the one who wrote that. Thanks a lot, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I'll have to find out who did the art work for it and thank them. I think it is fantastic art too. -----------------------

Wohoo! Got mine last Thursday deep in the heart of Texas! I love the calendar. I had it laminated so I can use an erasable marker on it. I plan to use it over and over again. Ever consider making a generic map like that? I'd buy it! Especially if it had different ships all around it. You could produce one for each race and one with all races. Just a thought!
keep up the good work Matthias DuBastyra Imperiadux of House Draconis
