I'd hardly call us barbaric, different than you, but not barbaric. We had warp travel while you were still climbing down from the trees.

Edited by: Makkar on 28/02/2004 17:40:41 Technology does not in itself cure barbarism. It's the application of said technology. Your use of Vitoc, for instance, does not mark you as anything other than barbarians in my eyes.
EDIT: To avoid being misquoted.

Really it is no matter.
Forgive me. I think about home, and I get a bit unreasonable.
We aren't barbarians though. Random Miner> Did you how steal my ore, lacked prospects or a bright future the thing you wanted me to take the fight airship to hit you

To rid people of their freedom against their will is a barbaric act. Simply because it doesn't involve anything more than an injection of poison is entirely against the point. As Makkar stated, it is the application of such technology and, I might add, the intent of such technology in the first place, that makes you barbarians. ------

And a tribal government is also barbaric.
As is the destruction of law abiding trader ships.
We could sit here all day and hurl names at each other. I would rather make a bit of coin, and get accustomed to not being in Amarr space.

You have a point there, Bhurak, and to be honest I really wish it wasn't necessary, but, you know, they just won't answer hails, and in order to free the slaves, it's necessary to remove the bestower from around them.

Many may not care much, but the one who will judge who is a barbarian and who is not is the great "Q" of the Q-Religion. The Amarrians do try to claim ownership of another person, this does not bode well for them when their time of judgement comes. The lord does not appriciate those who would try to own his creations. Try to own his people, and try to own his rocks. Rest assured this will be factored into his equation when the time comes.
We cannot claim ownership over another. We are all equal, we are all deciples of the lord, none more deserving then another. -----------------------------------

Okay, this off topic banter stops now.
With the system location now revealed, and open to interruption from anyone and everyone who wants, we have two choices.
First, we go ahead and don't move the rally, and hope that people show a little respect. I don't know about you, but my faith in man-kind's level of inherent honor has failed.
Secondly, we stage the rally in a less public, and therefore less secure area. This will decrease the effectiveness of the rally because of less press coverage and disruption of normal daily affairs, and secondly, with reduced Concord presence, we might have even more problems from attacks.
Voice your opinions now, and only valid opinions will be heard, so donĘt even bother if you arenĘt Minmatar.

We kept our promise, we always do.
Your rally went along as well as can be expected when Minmatar decide to arrange something, or so it seems.
However you managed to taint your own Honor after the rally, by leading a taskforce of a dozen battleworthy ships into Amarr itself.
Is this the sort of payback we can expect for the goodwill shown?
Harbor no illusions as to our ability to mass a fleet of our own and shut down the system of Eram when your rally was taking place. We could have done that quite easily. We did not, and then you use the system as a staging ground for a thrust into Amarr itself.
Choose your reply with care, for I am less than pleased.
Explain yourselves! ----------------------------------------------

Edited by: Dagoth IronJaw on 01/03/2004 20:11:10 If you were there then you may have noticed (or not) my absense from that fleet. Personally i was against the option of partaking in such an action.
However i can not speak for my brothers. so i will not try.
As a side note. a lot of our ships were battle worthy in case of an incursion by PIE, Dark Seraph etc... so 12 is quite a minority.. No excuse i know, but we could have had 50 or so if we wanted to 'taint' our honour.

Then I direct this question of Honor to those who made their way into Amarr.
Transgressions such as these will not aid your cause, but make us more wary when it comes to your internal buisness.
We cannot have your political meetings being used as a staging ground for assaults upon Amarr, if you expect us to regard them as 'internal' and beneath of our attention.
Respect where respect is due though, I see reason is not lost on you all. ----------------------------------------------

A worthy reply Asimir.
Silence speaks loud enough in this case. I shall convene with my CEO Snook and Admiral Trevize, to decide our stance regarding future Minmatar 'political gatherings'!
Rest assured that Snook is not nearly as generous as our former CEO, and our decision will surely reflect this.
