Is there still a market for Science Graduates?
I had some yesterday but could not find anyone interested in them. I tried the trade channel and no one was interested.
In the end, I just gave in to my conscience.

And what was your price? 350K per graduate? More?
The normal reward for the R&D mission that required these is about 50 to 100 RP's. Seeing as how the agent can ask for up to TWELVE of the little suckers, paying 4 or 5 mill total for them just ISN'T a sensible investment.
When it was superconductors to get implants, the outlay was worth it. I made a good few million selling them on at vastly inflated prices. But people paid, so it's a fair price.
I might pay up to 50K per Science Graduate, but no more. If I can't get them for that, I just abort the mission.
The main problem with a lot of traders is that they don't realise that a shortage of supply is NOT the same thing as a high demand!

Thanks for your replies. I take it that Science Graduates are no longer the "hot item" they used to be.
I didn't quote a price at the time, I was open to negotiation. I tried getting a price check and was trying to find out how much demand there is for graduates.
Don't feel so bad about finishing the mission now.

Now that the initial tech 2 research agent gold rush is over, I will no longer buy homeless people or research graduates. It's not worth it. If I have to spend more than 100k or so on a research mission, I'm going to decline it, just not worth the small increase in RPs. I've probably spent around 60-70 million ISK on homeless people alone, and *if* I were to ever get a BP out of the deal, I'm going to be forced to charge quite a premium for it just to make back research costs.

Actually the first science grads ever sold went for 50k a piece. Then I found it a too big hassle and skyrocket the price to 250k.
Now I'm glad I got rid of them all in time. And I feel good about the resent changes too, as I now don't feel a pressure to constantly try to make as many money as possible doing the same thing over and over.
