What is a good Malediction (Elite frigate) setup ?
I think it's very strange it has more free high and medium slots, while it has the same CPU or Powercore as the Executioner  ... Can you actuall do something like??? :
3 x Guns ?
1 x 1MWD
1 x Warp Scrambler
1 x ???
Or what do you put on it ?

Micro auxillary power cores are a must to boost power. At a fixed +10mw each, three of those in your low slots would almost double your base power output. Other low-slot options are a co-pro is you're short on CPU, or the obvious cap-relay.
In the mid-slots, sensor dampeners and/or tracking disruptors will maximise the bonuses of any interceptor, making it very hard to hit at all. The mwd is an obvious must, and a shield booster is seriously worth considering.
IMO, the biggest problem is what guns to fit. I'm not convinced lasers are the best choice for any interceptor. I'd be tempted to put in three blasters and use your speed to cause maximum damage at v. short range, in hit and run style attacks.

I don't know what you'd do with all that powercore :P
What seems like a nice setup to me is:
- 3x Medium Pulse Laser
- Mwd, Warp Scrambler and Webifier (or a Sensor Damper)
- Heat Sink II, Power Diagnostic System I and a Cap Relay or an Overdrive Injector I
This should capitalise on the Maledictions' speed and it's RoF bonus.
Have to try it out, of course, but I won't be able to fly one for at least 6 days

i think micro auxilleries stack, so 3 would only need 1 low slot, therefore enabling (if u had enough cpu) a frigate to use medium weapons.
thats if they do stack, someone told me they did but im not too sure.

I'm pretty sure dropping the heat sink for a Aux power core and replacing the med pulses with med beams would do more damage (but can't be bothered to calculate )
Wouldn't bother with an overdrive either. The bonus it gives compared to base speed is really not that significant on an already fast interceptor. (though that extra bit of speed is always fun)

I don't know about the damage output. I don't know if the speeds you'll be travelling at will adversely affect the med Beams' lower tracking too mcuh. As I said, I need to test it properly.
(as for the overdrive, its just flavour :P)

To use medium weapons on a frigate would suck either way.
3 small guns are WAY better than 1 medium, and 3 medium would suck WAY too much cap on a frigate

the medium beam is a small turret. The heavy beam is medium, the mega is a large. how intuitive, no?
