how in gods name am i suppose to set up my mal? i'm amarr, not caldari ffs, but i want to tackle for my corp and here i am staring at %5 rocket dmg bonus LOLOLOL and EM missile dmg bonus LOLOLOLOLOLOLIMFREAKINGAMARRIHAVELASERSIDONTNEEDANYMOREFREAKINGEMDAMAGE!!! and no laser bonuses.
so do i just lump it and go with 3x pulses and an obligatory rocket launcher and stop crying since i'm just tackling anyway? so what about low slots for the mal? and for mids the obligatory mwd / scram / warp? also what is the viability of either the malediction or the crusader for missions/ratting? i can do t2 plate, ab, small pulse turrets, webs, armor reppers, balh blah.
i looked up the malediction setup thread and it's years old and from what i understand times have changed with the khanid stuff. thanks.

3x Rocket II's 1x Small AC II
MWDII, 20km scram(24km in rev3), web(second 24km scram in rev3)
ODII, ODII, DCII or nanoII
Replace either a mid for a cap recharger, or a low for a CPR if you need more cap. Faction rockets for anti tackler/frigate hunting. Javlins for gang tackling.

1. It's Khanid - they use unguided missiles.
2. It's getting changed in Rev 3.

my beef with the malediction is that it uses rockets, and being someone who doesnt know a rocket from a shield booster, i cant get them to go far enough. I could fit for crow like speed, but my rockets dont reach the target, i could fit missiles, but then im loosting that bonus to damage. I just have a hard time figuring out a fit for it.

sorry for the failed attempt at humor, i was in a weird mood. didn't realize i'd get some people with a stick jammed in their fallopian tubes having a problem with it.
mkay, so my whole point was this: i want to tackle, but my best tackling option is a missile boat. i'm a youngin' as an amarr and haven't spent time getting missile skills up. i do realize i can hop in a crusader, which is what i'll likely do while i get my missile skills up to properly use a malediction. which if that's my best bet i'm cool with that.

yeah i'm with you, i guess i could have said that sans my "mcdonalds" advertisement, whatever the hell that means.
