Is it viable to have a gank Dominix while still maintaining a tank...such as 6 large blasters, tackle gear, and tank. Or is that gimping the Dominix's flexibility? Give me set ups!!!!

If you manage to fit 6 blasters and a decent tank on the domi, I'd be impressed.
Yes a gankdomi is indeed a viable setup, but as the name implies you can't expect to tank very well while doing so.

even to fit Ions and a tank you'll need either fitting mods or some Ancillary rigs. The domi has seriously low amount of grid, so its kinda a choice... gank or tank. It has enough CPU to BLOT OUT THE SUN!!!!

The thing's pretty short on grid... probably will have to go with electrons. But it's not a bad idea.

Well, I'm not saying the tank has to compare with a dual rep ship bonused tank, but it has to be able to hold its own 1v1 long enough for the massive dps to chew through the target.

Go for 1600mm rolled tungstens, eanms, suitcase in lows (maximal high resist armor hp).
Mids go for tackle sensorbooster and mwd.
High go for biggest guns that fit.
Drones ogres, warriors and some spare/complementairy drones.

it is doable albeit i do not know if its the best of choices to gank setup a dominix
Hi: 6 x Neutron blaster II
Mid: MWD, disruptor, webie, XL shield Booster, Cap injector
Lows: 3 dmg mods, 2RCU II 1 CPU II, suitcase
Rigs: 1 grid rig, 1 EM shield rig, 1 therm shield rig
it does a ****load of dmg but the target better not be a big tank ship or your in trouble. i blew up Bthrons with this but not high end bthrons. So it works fine on non T2 pilots but on T2 pilots your gonna hurt big time.

If you set up a shield tank, and use a few buddies to tackle. it is by all emans possible (shield tanks doesnt eat THAT much Pg and leaves your lows open for damage modules and cap/fitting modules.
No idea if a passive tank is viable with a gank setup though, so active is the thing.
