I've been running some missions today.
I'm in the middle of "Silence the Informant" and wrecks are disappearing ludicrously fast.
As in...less than 30 minutes after I destroy something, the wreck disappears. Before I clear a room in a mission, the wrecks are disappearing.
Is this new?

probably, stealth-tweak to wreck lifetimes?
Either case, less wrecks over time = less server load + less client load in rendering the wreck = happy TQ.
Some people who actually loot/salvage wrecks usually do it with a buddy/alt in a dedicated pickup/salvage craft. -

You also need the third account to scout for your looting account.

the most elegant solution is to allow probing of wrecks outside of deadspace.

Are you running missions in busy systems? Motsu gets large amounts of lag for very low player numbers by Jita standards, so perhaps there is a max number of wrecks in a system to help cut back on lag.
Perhaps you should evaluate your time + profit and start more poker games. I suggest playing more heads up. :)
